hi guys,

the situation is like tis..i beat a red light at ard 6am todae at yishun area..there is 1 more traffic light which is situated infront, quite near to the 1 i have beaten..the prob ish i like oni saw the 2nd traffic light and was slowing down le...but i dunno y cannot see the 1st traffic light and went on to beat it..now i quite scared if i were to get charge T_T

 

anyway,there was 2 cam on the opp side..but i forgot to check my side..

my pillion said there's no flash frm the cam on the opp side..but i scared it's the cam on my side take de..any advise on tis?

 

i heard frm my instructor b4..like some cam ish dummy like de..

got flash but no film or real 1 but nvr on..is it true?

 

wat ish the worst case scenario? still got 2 more months b4 clearing my p-plate...any help will be appreciated..thks

You don't need to worry. Chances are if no flash, no worries. If summons comes, they will only deduct 12 points. Your balance is 0 points (12 points p-plate - 12 demerits = 0). Your license is still not affected. License will only be in trouble if less than 0 points.

 

Redlight cameras are not taken by the opposite side, makes no point coz will blind you hahaha. Usually taken from the back I think.

 

All cameras are alive. No point putting up a dummy camera. Only that at certain point, cameras also need to rest so it is somewhat turned off or maybe faulty. When it is not active, dun ask me I dunno. At some places there are red light cams and survellience cam. Both are different.

omg..dunno whether got taken anot... early in the morning the cam are on too? do u noe rougly when the letter will come? or after when i will be confirm safe if letter no come?

cameras in front of u r meant for the other direction of road. some junctions have 1 camera only, that means it's only catching red light beaters in 1 directions only. the sensors r on the road, u need to activate 2 sensors to activate the camera, 1 b4 the traffic light, somewhere on the white line, 1 in the yellow box. if there's a flash behind, confirm u kenna. 2 shots r taken, 1 u crossed the white line, another u in the box or over.
