Right decision?

There's no such thing as a right or wrong decision.

Perhaps allow me to share with you.

I was like you last time.

6 months before even I start 2B, I was lurking around in forum hunting for bike infos. Things I can find on the net, I absorb. Things I can't find, I ask.

Initally I want to get Scrambler. Then road bike. And almost get the DNA. but finally I get the runner.

I though that I've make the right decision. When I finally got it, I found that there's no right and wrong. Only decisions so as to speak of.

As long a bike suits your wants and needs, it the bike to get.

And there's no such thing as a problem free bike.

Even a $300K merc will have problems. It just how you can live with it.

If you can't, just change vehicle.

If you want "full" control. get a gear bike.

If you want relax riding, get a auto scoot.

If you want compact, get skipper st.

Want style get runner.

If you want a carryall (I call it carryall because of "cargo space")

get X9.

A smaller dimension carryall get X8.

A stylo carryall, get alantic.

And as usual all bikes regardless of made got their pro and cons.

It just voice down what you want.

My good old pal Yuna who is riding a X9 share somehumna decision tips with me.

Just right down the pro and cons of which bike you are interested in.

and ask yourself what is the 3 main wants/needs is and see which bike can fulfill it.

That's is about as close as the decision making can get.

This is wat i planned.. at first i was looking at x9 only.. den slowly.. i saw atlantic and joyride.. so i ask ard for that 2 bikes.. wat issit like and stuff. after more info, joyride is out.. cos i kinda dun like the design. haha. :cheeky: so i was left with atlantic and x9. And again, after much tinking, i decide to take x9. lol. In the end i go back to my 1st view. I hope i can get a good deal for that bike.. wish me luck!

Running away from problems is a sure way of running into problems. - saw this quote on someone's t shirt

"Love is always patient and kind , It is never jealous,

Love is never boastful not conceded, It is never selfish, It does not take offence and it is not resentful,

Love takes no pleasure in other people sins but delights in the truth, It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes...." - A Walk To Remember

Has anyone owned atlantic 200 or similar bike having the same engine had encounter before that this scooter require frequent engine oil change. Approximately 1500km the engine smoothness started to degrade. Thanks.

No problem at all. Consumption at 33km/l even though tank is small. Next test will be Hatyai. :giddy:

Parts huh? Can only get from Mah. No problems getting the belt, rollers, brake pad and oil filter. Other parts never change so I dunno whether difficult the get or not. Problem is I can't see anything when they service my bike and the long wait for it. Thing shld improve when they start using the Kampong Bugis workshop (Shld be in service by now)

Share with other makes? BMW C1 200cc one(uses the same engine rite). More xiong rite. (Beemer parts :giddy: )

Fuel tank shld be 9 to 9.5 ba as the max I tried to pump is around 8.9L.
