Do have a check at the resevoir for the water cooler, you might not have enough liquid in it,make sure that you top up enough liquid," Distilled water" If you have experience a sudden lost of power while moving off, it's most likely due to your clutch slip. If the sound is constant during idling ,the problems lies with you clutch shoes coming loose" Not really sure if thats what you call it" Do monitor and have it checked by an experienced mechanic......unless you are willing to spents unnecessary money by chaninging lots of unnecessary stuffs which some shops make you do by teling lots of stuffs.......

you better have your clutch checked when you changed your belt...did you check you coolant level?

what about my problem ziggy!

Well first of all , I have yet to encounter the same problem that you are facing, although I have park quite a few times the way that you have describe( touchwood)

So maybe you might want to consider putting a fuel on/off switch to prevent backflow, put it will be difficult to have access to it.

The other option is try not to park in that manner or look for alternative parking lots.Seriously, I can't tell others what I do not know. Sorry, not much of a help.

Well you should have change your belts at the same time, unless it's totally new, to save yourself some money on the labour charges, and you can keep the belt as a spare when you go up north.

Dun cut the wires from the Headlights, but from the headlight switch itselfs, where you want to placed the switch is at your own preference, Mine is on the handle bar, where all the switches are, there is actaully an empty switch slot..
