hi there.. i think for small voltmeters you can try LIMBATT.. speak to richard.. he's a first rate guy.. i did a HID kit and also got a battery charger from him.. very nice guy.. alternatively you can try sim lim TOWER(not square).. there are tons of shops there which have all manner of switches, wires and even voltmeters.. hope you find what you're looking for!

Hey guys! Due to very little response from this new thread. I would like to invite all of you guys to make some noise and check out if there are any events upcoming in our Singapore Tuas circuit. Most importantly this new thread will also serve as a place for all of us to talk about anything that relates to racing, techniques, brakings, taking a corner...etc etc.

The scooter scene is still very small in Tuas unlike the Yamaha cubs. So i would like to promote this new thread for some of you guys here whom always wanted to know more about scooter racing and also where and when to watch. The upcoming race will be on 1st of March and it's open category.

If you are interested, you can post some of your enquiries. Our guys here are very friendly and willingly to reply your post.

Your support will be much appreciated.

anyone ever rode their atlantic up to KL before? any pre-trip stuff needs to be done?

hi there.. i have ridden my atlantic to melaka and also to air papan.. i believe there are 2 atlantic riders that have gone all the way to krabi before..

i suppose you need to look at your mileage done since your last servicing and what you have or have not replaced since then.. i don't think the 330km ride and reciprocated is much of a problem for the atlantic.. but just to be sure you can check your service schedule in the manual and see if anything needs a look at? better yet just pop by any scooter shop and let the mechanic there know what you're planning and then have him advise you accordingly?

usually for tours(depending on the size and experience of group going) i try to let someone back home know about my plans and will check in with them a certain time everyday.. i'll also fill up a particulars form(blood type, address, in case of emergency, etc..) and have in on me in a place that is on me.. for longer trips i'll usually get additional insurance coverage as well.. having a simple FA kit and also tools and a worm kit helps too.. you may also want to have a buddy system or such.. i usually carry maps and also plan where to top-up fuel and break also.. all relative to the size/scope of your ride i suppose..

all the best for it!

To All Alantic Riders, finally manage to get a after market rear shock absorder at $150.00 and done up the full service at Txxxxx today. When the mechanic inform me that the water pump need to be service, i was shock cos just replace it 3mth ago at Dxxxxx. But true in enough they show me the parts is loosing, so disappointed with Dxxxxx buy from them in the end they do like that. But now after the full servicing with Dr Pulley implaced, i feel i riding a new bike and the speed improve.

May i know where ur normally service ur atlantic? I thinking of doing a normal servicing as well as a health check for the bike as well. Do ur think a voltmeter and rpm meter would be a good add on?

hi there! i usually do my servicing at future scootering.. the mechanic i usually see there is choong.. the last time i went, about 2 months ago, he said he was setting up shop opposite.. you can get him at 83139855.. no regrets so far..

as for voltmeter and RPM.. i have both.. i think the voltmeter is important.. as for RPM i just wanted style lar.. but mine is super wonky.. if it rains or if i open full throttle i am revving at 70,000 RPM.. you tell me how? :cheeky: get a better brand i think!

Sori Bro, I mean it a 2nd hand one that they keep after ppl bike is involve with accident and they keep the good parts to sell as 2nd. My ex-rear absorder is leaking out oil and too soft. After the replace it much more better aready. I had check alot of shop but they don't have for Alantic only Mxx have it and very expensive to import in. So far with Dr Pulley, my bike is easy to run at 120km/hr and could hit to 130 as last before that it hard to reach that speed. Maybe can give it a try during your next servicing.

Hello, anyone here is kind enough to help me. Because my brother just brought a 2nd hand Aprilia Atlantic 200cc. What is the normal servicing and Full servicing, like when change EO, Oil filler, spark plug and belt.

haha.. yeah.. i think 70 000RPM might be a bit exaggerated.. at full throttle i can go at 120kmh.. i suppose if you're lighter than me then you can go faster.. the max i hit was 135kmh but that was downhill..

hi.. i am kind enough! ahaha.. i have the original manual.. it states that EO to be changed every 4000km and oil filter double that.. the belt to be changed at 12 000km.. spark plugs depend on the kind that you use i suppose.. the iridium one i use is supposed to last 100 000km.. *shrug* i suggest your brother bring his scoot down to a reputable shop and just ask the mechs to check everything as he just got it.. i have the original manual if you want to photocopy it.. but i'll need it back! :thumb:

Can't help much. cos i am a new owner as well.

I suppose its routine engine oil change every 3000km and a full servicing every 10000km?

Engine oil change Can be at about 3000km to 4000km. Full servicing normally about 12,000km, cheers

i looked around the forum and saw that some of the scooter has aftermarket mirror, some had it on the aftermarket handle some have them replacing the stock. Is it because the stock one has to be pretty long, that's y can't really find aftermarket?
