Will you feel your bike very heavy when picking up?

is your transmission parts all original?

did you check your tyres pressure?

I dun think is your coolant pump problem from your 1st posting about the question you mention.

 

no point making guess, it will make you more confuse. Send to someone you trust to check it out lor. mostly i suspect the bad mileage is cause by the engine.

Anyone has any idea whether it's possible to install kickstart lever for AA ah? And any shop that does a good repainting service for AA?

Hi guys. Just got a AA200 and am njoyin the ride. Just w probs.

 

1- the underseat just can't put 2 open face helmets no matter how I try. Only can put 1 futher away from the battery den the seat can close. any idea?

 

2- the glove compartment can't lock. The catch can't hook on. So I actually need to take out the key aft turnin to lock position. den close it and hit it hard abit like slappin it wid my plam. den can lock. Any1 encountered this n noe how to rectify it?

Anyway, for new interested buyers, I got my AA200 at $3700 machine price.

I know is damn ex but there's pple sellin $1900 on the forum but I still decided on the more ex one.

Its a 2007 1 owner mileage only 23,900km Original gold colour. very nice scooter compared to my taiwan shyt scoot but abit underpower compared to my r1...

Handling wise like abit funny tho. when tryin to maintain straight, it seems the bike keep wantin to drop to either 1 side den u hav to counter abit here n there. not very jialat but noticeable. Y ah?

Just to help you answer your question.

 

1- AA can only fit 1 helmet.

 

2- Glove compartment problem is common. I had the problem from the first day I got the bike.

I've decided to put the helmets in the 42L top box that came wid the scoot.

As for the glove box prob, since its common den no choice. Niwae, I use to store my arm cover sleeve thing(dunno wads its call. its ogk brand which u use like long sleeves lidat.) my buff face mask n cashcard.

So think jus put cash card in wallet. the rest if realli pple wan steal also bo pian...

The bike came crashin in the front. but normal for the rear. cornerin on uneven rd the scoot like jumpin here n there.

Went petrol kiosk to pump tire pressure. To my amaze.... front was 330kpa rear was 260kpa. Both r hot tires pressure.

reccommended pressure is 220front 240rear COLD.

Now front normal liao.

Tmr is that day to do a full service n change the transmission parts.

The clutch slippin/chattering is very irritating esp on low speed.

 

Btw, any1 knows where to get smoked short screen?

Mine have the kappa super long screen n I dun like it. When travel above 80 den scoot becoms vulnerble to strong winds. Plus the visual distortion its givin me..... but can smoke like nobody's business.

if onli a bit under powered when compare to r1 then its very good lor cis its only 200 cc? Haha.. By the way, it you tend to counter steer when riding, maybe you should check your front fork or wheel bearings? Have fun wit aa cos its really a dam nice bike!!

My fc for aa is about 28 km/l.. Some say its high for scooter, some say its common for aa... I say i love the handling and the fc is the least of my concern.

k. 1 wk aft riding the aa200, here's my summary

 

Being an uncle, I find that the need for praticality is overwhelming den the need for extreme speed, extreme handling n the wow factor.

I love my aa200 as much as I love my r1.

Acceleration is jus nice to get out of sticky situation n for overtaking at highway. top speed is abit disappointin as it clock only 125 on the speedo n 115 on my gps.

Handling is quite stable for a scooter n storage is enuff if u have a topbox. brake is abit not up to expectation even wid the ebc hh pad up front. but the rear sure bites better den the front. believe most scooter r rear biased.

Its abit heavy n hard to do tight manuerver but overall still consider a gd scoot.

fc was 24km/l when I 1st got it n now its abt 25.5km/l aft the servicing. do note tat I always warmup for quite awhile even jus park for 1-2 hrs only. for me, 75% riding 2up n abit heavy on the throttle.

So if u ride like an ah pek alone most of the time, believe 28km/l is achievable.

btw, fc for the r1 is abt 13km/l so this is really gd. but my previous x1r managed 60km/l n thats crazy...

Bro, I tink the left hand activates both front and back brakes, whilst the right hand lever activates only the front. This is probably why u tink the rear bites better. I also Ah Pek riding AA200. Wanted to sell many times, but finally still like it better than other makes. Mine seems to be very hot when I'm stuck in traffic jams. Looks like this thread getting more hot lately also.

Btw, AA bike odometer is in miles (unless ur late model is diff fr my '04 model). I suppose u oredi converted into km.

A few months ago, future scootering has an offer of 190 for full servicing inclusive of changing belt, roller, clips, eo and spark plug. ( hope i didn't get it wrong)

 

generally every 3~4k, change eo, every 10~12k change spark plug and belt. Pretty ok I would say since most 2B bikes change eo at about 2.5 ~ 4k.
