Most of the S4 riders are using Dynojet. Kenso bakudan stage II,not much people using,maybe due to the name not known so well compared to Dynojet. Factory ones(if you mean keihin) i've used before. Great but i only change to mainjet size 108 and 105 but with stock needlejet.

 

As for kenso anyone using?...hows the review?..

When i use the keihin 105 and 108 mainjets,my fuel consumption was 300-320km per 15L of fuel. Seldom open vtec. When changing to kenso jet,fuel consumption dropped to 260-280km per 15L even more worst when touring. 190-200km i must find petrol kisok withing the next 30-40km.(Kenso mainjet size 107,110)

 

As for the 2 different jet size,even for a stock s4 spec3(dunno about other specs or non vtec),the bike comes with stock mainjet of size 102 and 105. Its kind of wierd that all the mainjets are not the same for all four cylinders.

 

IMHO,maybe its for cooling purpose. Outer cylinder get better cooling by air and water(compared to inner ones),thats why the outer cylinder mainjets are smaller(leaner A/F mixture) compared to inner ones.

if i wan low range to mid tuning... do i need to change mainjets?

BAJAJ Pulsar 180(apr06)-(nov07)

HONDA NSR 150 sp(nov07)-(mar09)

HONDA specIII(mar09)-(dec10)

HONDA wave125(dec10)-(nov12)

YAMAHA rxz135(nov12)-

top speed: TBC

mileage: miles away

Nope...you need to play around with the needle jet..
