I like the idea of Koh Samui too. Can ride my bike around the island. If not, can also rent a scambler.

After searching the web, realised there could be many things to do over there:

1. Visit all the Wats - Big Buddha, 18 arm Buddha, Secret Buddha Garden, Mummified Monk, Buddha's footprint, etc.

2. Visit Touristy places - Snake farm, elephant trekking and show, monkey show, crocodile show and zoo, Paradise Park Farm, Butterfly Garden, waterfalls, watch MuayThai, etc.

3. Speed Boating to Angthong National Marine Park - kayaking, Snorkeling, etc.

4. Nightlife...

Last Question: better to stay at Chaweng or Lamai?

I think the night market is in Chaweng but Lamai is less crowded. Hmm...
