Transfer of ownership

Hi all brothers, I have a question to ask everybody. I have a problem which is I want to transfer my ownership of my bike to someone on this date 10/02/09 as I leaving for oversea study on 11/02/09. But the person insurance will be activated on 13/02/09. Which mean he cannot ride the bike for 3 days without a valid insurance. So when is it possible for him to take over the bike even though he does not have a valid insurance for the 3days, will LTA allow this action? What is the document that I need to bring down to LTA for transfer ownership in this case?

very simple

 

just do the paper work on 10/02...

leave the bike @ the new owner place before transferring the ownership.

ask him to purchase the season parking from 10/02.

 

ask him to ride from 13/02 once the insurance is done

from what i noe, must have insurance then can transfer the ownership of bike.

hope someone will help ts in this situation so others like me can benefit from it too.
