i havent got time to buy racket yet leh! btw which shop do u recommend ah? how to test if the string tension is good or not?

 

there are also some not so famous brand racket, but these brands give the famous one a run for money. can also try apacs (heard sister company of pro-ace).

Where do you stay? Most badminton halls have sports shops near it - these are good places to buy because they usually stock the more popular brands. Most new rackets come with strings already laced - okay for most of us. Different tensions for different kind of players, also depends on racket strength. Tighter usually for power players but the strings may snap when the racket is kept in car/boot.

East side, huh? 1) Singapore Badminton Hall(building still there or not?) entrance has a shop run owned by a former top player wsk. 2) Tampines Sports Hall entrance sports shop. 3) Sports shop across the road of Bedok Sports Hall.
