The manual says this: The main switch in the〝 ON 〞 position, cuts according to this switch, four directions lantern festivals dodge extinguish do move, also can simultaneously dodge on the display board direction indicating lamp extinguishes does moves. If stops the vehicle has when the transportation frequent dangerous position or the vehicle the breakdown, may use the dangerous police to show the switch.

Probably means this switch has four positions -- two for the engine stop function, and the other two for the hazard lights. Will try out and find out for myself soon.

wah, that i dun noe lei. i only know is engine cut. aka on or off. no other function.

hazard is separated.

but it could also means that if u want to operate the hazard light while stationary, u can cut the engine without cutting the power/electric which will still gives u power then u still got hazard function.

(my english quite poor may mis-read)

Looks like the engine on/off switch is just that. No hazard lights function. In other words, I still cannot locate the hazard lights switch on the Joyride 200i Evo. Is it possible it doesn't have this function? Any Joyride rider care to confirm?

The ref to lantern festival comes from the gibberish in the manual... "The main switch in the〝 ON 〞 position, cuts according to this switch, four directions lantern festivals dodge extinguish do move..." Dunno what the hell that means.... ha, ha.

No red triangle icon at all, though this icon appears in the manual. Very confused. Instead the icons are a round arrow and the same arrow with an X on it. I assume they refer to the engine ON an OFF.

That hazard triangle is located in the front oops the seat. Think where near the front panel is.

If you are referring specifically to the Joyride 200i Evo, then this is probably incorrect. But I will check and see whether I can find the hazard switch/triangle at the front panel area.

It's great to know that Sym is the No 1 scooter brand in the Best Brands 2011 appraisal held in Germany last month. (Suzuki was second and Kymco, third.) Participants of the appraisal were German distributors from the bike industry, so they should know what they are talking about.

I learned about this news from the Sym site.
