wah..driving bike really has perks to enjoy and prices to pay.

 

Just went in for some v-power and was stopped by malaysian traffic police for not switching on my headlights on my way back.

 

First time going in for patrol during the day and so suay.

Traffic police stops me and ask to pay.

Took my license

said my lights not on

I thought for an instant

since when they so on.

Told to pay 50 ringgit fine

of course I was not fine.

I said "Ah Bang, I was never told."

And he said "Then 150 ringgit, u can or not?"

I said "huh?!"

and he said "uh!"

I said "I got only 3 ringgit"

He asked me again "can or not?"

I said "I add another sing 10 dollars"

and he said ok but wait cuz other bikes have stopped at the traffic light. think he didn't want any witnesses.

after they have left, he then asked for the money by gesturing his hand out.

I gave and he said thanks and stepped aside to allow me to leave.

 

sianz...shall resume to night trips instead of day.

 

I kena stopped by the polis a few days ago too , at night

two polis driving patrol car stopped me and one of them said "I want to check on you"

I was thinking wtf you want to check , because I my scooter can't off head light and I was wearing helmet and gloves .After I stopped by the road side , they took their time checking every single compartment of my scooter and of course my pockets =) . they are particularly interested in my wallet as they took most of the time "checking" thru

but luckily the location is near esso ,opposite plengi mall , so at night a lot of local people, they just stand their and watch me being checked lol ~

in the end I think the polis felt mission failed , left my wallet and belongs unhurt.

2) Hey! Mr Policeman my bike broke down just now and had push to a shop for a quick repair and was charged at a high price. Now, I couldnt affort dinner or petrol can you borrow me some and I will return back to you the next time i see you.

 

3) Thank you for stopping and I think I am lost can you lead me to the custom and I will get my uncle a high ranking officer to thank you personally.

well from my knowledge it had got something to do with the carburetor.

 

Should be Carburetor. Recently been using "EP-1 Petrol" additive. Bought in NUTC. I could stay at 110km/hr for long time. The power lost issues did not come. I am still concern about the power lost.

 

The EP-1 comes in 6 small bottle. I use 1 bottle for 3 full tanks fill-up. Use on alt-fill up only. So far so good.

I personally seen a group of polis officers rocking a poor rider with singapore registered number plate , and the poor rider lost his balance just outside the polis station near old custom shell station....

Next step is turn the singaporean upside down and shake him violently so all his money can come out right? if they wanna be so open about kopi money, just follow our govt la. INSTALL A FREAKING ERP GANTRY on the damn causeway and charge 10 dollar KOPI for bike and 30 dollar KOPI for car. done~ now pls carry out your supposed duties of fighting crime with our new found Kopi money.

Hi All, just got my SYM GTS200, just a few question wanna ask cause still noob to this bike:

1. What's the FC 300+ or above?

2. Is there any shop beside the 1 at upper changi (Daredreamers) doing modification for SYM? Similar to those japan custom scooter. I've check with them and their price is darm ex loh.

3. Any street legal after market exhaust for SYM GTS200

4. When travelling @ 100KM is it normal for the RPM to hit 7000?

5. What's the PSI for the front and back?

6. What's the recommended brand for tyres?

7. What to look out for beside normal servicing eg. engine oil, oil filter, belt and ???

 

Sorry for the long winded as really noob to scooter but really enjoy the ride, hope to meet up with you guys some other days.

3. nope. But future sells aftermarket one but not approved.

4. yes around 7000.

5. i usually put 260 front and 300 rear if pillioning alot + box. but usually i just 260 both tyres.

6. michelin gold. very good on wet roads.

7. Stock exhaust will "break" after a while. inherent design flaw. no way to fix it unless u operate your exhaust or change to aftermarket. read this whole thread from page one and you can find out lots of info on your new ride.
