Any GTS fellas here did any mods? If yes, what mods and where you did. I saw a few GTS with side lights, and once saw one with new and brighter LED ring inside the headlamp! There are more LED than the current one, so I believe he changed somewhere. Anyone know can kindly share? Thanks.

Hi all, anyone knows what is the market rate for a new GTS 200. Was quoted $7.2k at one bike shop... feels quite X. Or is this the standard price range. Pls advice. Any bike shop to recommend to get the bike?

7.2k jus abt right. with the coe very expensive nowadays, it should b abt there. 6 mths ago i think it was ard 6.8k, but coe was below 2k. now i think already 2.4k.

for those riding excel II or fighter, it's best to check ur belting ard the 10k km mark. mine was totally destroyed at 11k km. had to tow to shop n change. lucky didnt affect other parts. the belt was disintegrated n left like a ball of strings. guess hv to change every 10k.

even if shop say can, just ask them to open the casing, n u check if belt has wear n tear signs. that's wat i intend to do at the next 10k mileage.

Hi, letting go my less than 1 year old SYM Joymax 300.

Low mileage at 1600km, hardly use 1600/11mths = 146km/mth.. haahaa..

Price selling is $300 more from trade in quotated by bike shop.

New bike is about 11K on the road.

it's slightly cheaper. but reliability, for me based on ur luck. depends on the condition of the bike that u buy. for parts, sym will b cheaper. but x9 has a smoother engine.

1. like at what mileage do we change the V Belt & rollers and how much do they cost?

2. How much is the price of a new scoot OTR excluding ins?

3. What would be the comfortable speed while on local expressway?

4. Which shop gives the best deal on this scoot?

Hi guys,

 

New to this thread. I own a GTS200. Been riding it for two years. Unfortunately got into accident last mth. Self skidded. Now feel alignment is not right. Feel like falling when cornering. Changed tyres and did alignment checks twice. Still feels the same. Now have unsafe feeling when riding.

 

Any tips on how to settle this problem? Heard alignment can never be the same after an accident. How true is this? I don't know. Help???

Hi guys.. I just realized that SG has the SYM Joymax 300.. Just wondering.. how would it compare with the Kymco Downtown 300 or Xciting 300? I understand that the Joymax and Xciting are about 270cc while the downtown is near to 300cc.. =)

may I ask Ryan's posts are where? I feel the same thing, feel jerky when I start my GTS 200, even though I always warm it up for half a cigarette time. But my scooter is very new, only 6k KM. Shall I change my belt so early???

Hi guys,

 

My GTS 200 tyre (tier) was punctured by a small piece of metal. It leaks now. 250 pressure drop to 100 pressure for just one week.... I will have to take care of it.

 

However, people say our tier is tubeless. How will it be prepared? Or I have to replace it for whole?

 

Urgent question, please help! feel very dangerous with a half flat rear tier. . .
