I think you will get slightly better fuel consumption when you switch back to stock exhaust!

Mine 26kmpl constant 100kmph frequent burst of full throttle to overtake on expressways.

Whoa! Since i advert on sgbikemart, so many people contacted me for my Majesty sale! Most of them used to ride/ riding super4, but want to change their ride for better weather protection, relaxed posture, clean shoes from bad weather..... LOL!!!

I really dunno why need COE for motorcycles. General population here still largely against riding to taking public transport and driving. Whats the point in having bike coe and even bike road tax?

 

Sometimes i also wonder why car parking can be charged by per minute, and bike is usually per entry charge.....

 

That said, bike actually consumes more fuel than car leh. Imagine 400cc, 34bhp, 196kg weight, carry 2 pax can get 23-25km/L.

 

Normal 1.6L car, 120bhp, 1200kg, carries 5 pax and does 12km/L.....

Yeah. Maybe authorities should start thinking of implementing extra usage charges on cars with only 1-2 ppl in it (including driver), and give rebates on cars with full occupancy (4-8 pax).

I really feel for those who will be affected by increase in their monthly public transport fares - Especially those who were paying $80-90/mth, and aft the increase in fares come april, need to fork out $90-110/mth. I.e. those that dun find the $120/mth bus or $170/mth bus+train concession beneficial to them....

I personally think for motorcycle parking, should have per min charge and then capped at a certain amount.... Just like for car.

 

Road tax and all.... Seriously.... For big bikes, the road tax almost as expensive as a similar cc car leh!!! How can!!!

20 years ago before there was ERP, they implemented a full occupancy car will enter the CBD area free. Bikes can purchase a monthly $15 or $20 label to enter CBD anytime.

 

People were actually getting together to pool car rides with colleagues, friends, neighbours...... And they are asking why is people not into the community.

Aiya, as long as new/ improved policies implemented dun make money for gahmen, they wont be able to serve us. So living in Spore can forget abt real policies that benefits the ppl.

 

Seriously, with all the train breakdowns, the council still dare to increase public transport fares leh. Its really beyond me.

No doubt about it, more of my colleagues want to learn motorcycle riding. Cos they are starting to give up on public transport.

 

I had the thought of getting my bike and car license once i reached 18years old back in secondary school as i spend at least 1-1.5hrs getting home from school every day. Thankfully, im one of the more fortunate kids to have my dad fetch me to sch then, and thats with my sibling too.
