After using Schnell Synthetic 15W-50 engine oil ($8.50/L), my fuel consumption now drop to 22.3-22.7km/L. Its likely due to the higher viscosity of the oil.

 

With my previous Idemitsu semi-synthetic 10W-40, i could get between 23-25km/L!!!

After using 2 tanks of Caltex 95, I have switch back to the 98 fuel which I feel more power with the bike.

 

Changing to Motul 300V after CNY, let you know how it goes.

Good morning all! 3more days to cny!!!

 

Thank goodness your dun live in Woodlands. Every morning i go to work from home, need to 'fight' with the kup kia.... Sian.

 

Some of them travelling slowly 80-90kph in between lane 1&2. I got to overtake sometimes between lanes 2&3, especially on expressway!!! Every morning same routine.

 

And still got many jokers, these few days so windy, they still choose to ride without jacket and proper shoes, especially in early morning!!! Wassup man!!!

I think the weight of the rollers got to do with the momentum and inertia of the variator.

 

The heavier it is, the more mass, the higher chance to achieve a higher top speed. But it will be a little slower acceleration from stationary than stock due to more mass.

 

If you want better acceleration, just get lighter weights. Less mass, less inertia when moving off, better acceleration!!!
