Bro, what is Raizin? Is it voltage stabliser?

Ya man, a very cheap upgrade. Though with my LV pipe, the difference is not significant but

I'm starting to feel it already, especially at the higher speed range!

We ordered from eBay, cost about S$25, easy to install. Make your bike feel more torquey and

make overtaking easier with the extra torque. I tried it on Norz's bike, it was amazing!

You mean the vibration of the handle bar or the clutch slip?

I'm using very heavy balancer plus AC added more oil into my front suspension. Now I'm getting minimium

vibration from the front!

If for clutch slip, you should get the Malossi torque and clutch springs which Norz and me are using, which

is to help alleviate the clutch slip issue. Docsu uses Dr Pulley 14g which seems to get rid of the clutch slip

for him and become the traffic light warrior!

Norz is using the Dr Pulley 15g while I'm using the 16g.

Although I'm now enjoy the bike with none of those problems, but I'll be reverting back to my 18g rollers as

I like the lower rpm engagement. And with the Malossi springs, I'll still have the necessary acceleration when needed

to move off or overtake!

If you are interested in the Malossi spring set, you can check with Docsu whether he will let go his as he didn't use them after

acquiring them as he find the Dr Pulley 14g seems to have resolve the issue for him!

Of course if you are free to join up tomorrow nite, then you can try our bikes to have a good idea! ;)

Initially, I was having bad vibration issues even after using a heavy balancer.(Heavier than Motovation)

Recently, at AC motor, after adding oil into my front suspension and changing to the Michelin Power Pure tyres, I tried hitting 150km/h and was very surprise

that there was minimum vibration.

!

I rem. reading a lot or scoots have hard-to-solve vibration problem and a batch of pirelli tires have this problem too in the silverwing thread.

Currently scraping my scoot and selling off parts, but do not discount getting back a silverwing cos I now have abundance of spare parts :p

Came across a 1 owner, 1o year old Majesty yp400, low mileage and condition is good and new, agent maintained for $1.5k bike price

Seriously consider getting it ....only deciding factor is the coe is tied at $4k ..

Hi Nighthawk, sorry for late response.

I wouldn't be as good as synman and norz here pertaining to parts/reliability but i can share with the short tour (real life performance).

Yeah I recently tried riding up malacca impromptu, 8hrs plus of riding and 600+km (including circling around sg west, then south and up north).

No major repair or any preparation, Penzoil engine oil recommended by Norz changed months ago. I just recently changed with Synman's tyre (better grip), my brakes and gantong are lousy and steering cone starting to give way... i just went off like... i always go to work everyday.

Speed range was variating between 110-140kph for going up, took me 4 hrs due to a stupid missed left turn. U-turning in NSE took me close to 30mins...

Back i worked with 130-150kph (my bike has difficulty going higher due to non-servicing) and used 2hr 45min back to SG. In SG I... hehehe maintain 60-90kph (b**lsh*t) for next 2 hrs.

Handling-wise, if the road is smooth... it IS smooth. If bumpy, handle do shake, i'm using normal RGV balancer.

Morning ride, weather cool, engine running is smoooth as butter. Especially if its smooth gradual increase, immediate pick-up and maintain at high speed does has diff against gradual increase (taking 150kph as my max).

Afternoon sun... temperature rises... engine does... cough a fair bit (if you know what i mean)

I'm a believer when it comes to weather/ambience temperature condition affects engine performance.

Vibrations i guess depends on individual's bike's maintenance. Mine has parts rickety around like old man (mine is 10yr old). Whole bike Vibrates a little when accelerating from 100-120kph. 120-140kph isssss smoooooth. Up to 150.... vibrates more, but still ok can 1 hand ride.

Heat-wise... directly below seat where we place our legs in stop-position... the fan blows out hot-air can be very discomforting, shouldn't be a prob for taller chaps whom legs are more to the front. I'm standing at 1.69m. Take note that this heat... is NOT due to the long distance, even normal half-hour jam in SG also will get.

Other than that, the bike's body does not emit heat badly from engine (it does, but negligable) even after i ride that long and far.

I hope the info helps. This bike is good. You should see how the other bros had done to their bike.

Mine is/should be considered the worst among the pack.

PS. Shell V-power Racing does helps alot. other petrol sucks big time, can feel its significant difference.

Hi bogeh, thank you lots for the detailed write up. This kind of review hard to come by :thumb:...give me a very realistic

perspective like I already own one.

I think the sw is better behaved in the heat department, the fan hardly turn on and it channels hot hair below the foot rest fairing.

On long distance, (mine at least), dosent suffer vibration at any range and smooth to the hold even at $140km/k for long stretch.

My only suspect/grip of riding it long and hard under the afternoon sun in the highway is that

a lot of heat built up from inside and when u suddenly come to a stop from 140km/h at one of the R&R,

high heat from within the engine begin to cook up the various component of the bike...

I usually time my last ten minute before reaching the R&R at 90km/k for it to cool down better.

I am bike-less now and hunting for St1100, FJR1300 Silverwing, Majesty.

Can do without a touring bike, cant do without a scoot :)

Will do bro, in fact tthiang is selling his majesty which of course has one more year before the COE expire. I think if there are any 08 or 09 model that shop is selling, it will be around

the price region of like $8k to $9k. Unfortunately, don't think the COE is coming down anytime soon unless we can get rid of this government (unlikely to happen) and the stupid thing is

abolish altogether.

Anyway, goodluck with finding a bike soon!

Actually I was eyeing (though no money), a white 10 yr old VFR800.....lol

Ideally, you should try doing 120km/h all the way from Tuas to JB town as that will help to make it even smoother.

But if you wanna keep the bike and alleviate the clutch slip issue, getting the Malossi springs (Clutch springs and Torque springs) should solve or greatly reduce the problem.

I should be changing back to 18g rollers when I'm free, currently I'm using Dr Pulley 16g.

Hi Bro Ray, me no balls to ride so fast la :(

Actually if you ride one hour on the KL highway, you'll find 120km/h is really slow and boring.

You will probably find 140km/h a more nice speed to ride the bike.

Maybe this is the 1st round and you are not really very used to the road there.

Normally, from Tuas to JB town, I do only about 100km/h, only when I need to clear some carbon then let go a bit.... ;)
