Words from Kevin Schwantz on importance of braking

“Even if you’re going to have to go off-line to pass somebody, you really need to have good braking reference points,” explains Schwantz in the attached video. “You also have to be really smooth in your transition off of the brakes. For me it was always one or two fingers and just the front brake, I never used the rear brake at all.”

“Muscling your way past somebody on the brakes involves just having the confidence to go up the inside of them, and also that you can make that transition smoothly onto the brakes and get all your hard braking done. Once you get to the turn you’ve got to be able to hold that line and be able to get out of the corner to keep the other guy from coming back underneath you.”

Seriously its time for me because my odometer is telling me at speeds of 120kmh, from Boon Lay to Tampines it's only 12km. But i think i'll be getting the M'sian meter, its kinky, when you off your bike the fuel gauge shows "E", when on its "F". :faint:
And on bumpy roads the meter will go up and down like a see-saw.

Got even bigger holes!

No prob. Better try to get your rear wheel problem rectified. Its dangerous to ride like that. The problem should be inside. Get it opened up and checked.

Did the above and found out that my rear bearings were damaged. After 4 years of riding now then i changed my rear bearings  Now my bike okay already :)

Dyno, you got your bike from Albert Motors which is located at Bukit Merah Lane? That shop is very famous/notorious, if you're with the Revenge bike group, you'll get very huge discounts when you buy a bike. If you're not, prepare to either get blended or to get a bike which will give you huge problems. To cut it short, Albert is what people avoid at Bukit Merah Lane, unless you're a regular of course.

Dont scare the dude? Pfft. It's just facts.

Dyno, buying a bike at a certain shop doesn't mean you got to service it there. Just bare that in mind.

If not. Some people just needs to learn things the hard way.

Your "team", i see. SBI? They held an event at one of Jurong West's CC where Albert sponsored a KR as a winning prize, that was cool, even cooler if it was a 1st hand RS125. As for your pipe, i think you still need to go send it for inspection. Your bike problems are minor, as long as the engine is able to run smoothly, it's still ok. The rest you could slowly or, at your own pace do it back up.

I kept seeing tri cone and even tri over yoshi pipe being mentioned but have yet to see it featured in Yoshimura's site. Care to enligthen me?

If I'm not mistaken. You sign 2.5 years and 3 years its the same thing. They will still calculate it as per annum. Might as well sign 2 or 3 years. Your friend same age and riding experience as you? Bike same plate? First or second hand? All these will play a part. Since you have already paid for the bike. Don;t think too much. Just enjoy riding it.
