nvm guys, i've managed to solve the problem already. thanks. it's got to do with the disc not suitable with my rim. i'm using ride it rims. i change back to original y125z break disc, everything is ok now. :) so anyone interested in the oversize break disc, do leave me a message. it's not racing boy brand. any reasonable offers will be accepted. used the disc for like a day only. haha.

 

let's talk about cdi, which cdi are most of you using currently? the one with the yamaha logo or with the letter m/w idk which one it is.from what i know, the one with the m/w logo is considered those restricted models one. more of those newer batch of 125zeds.

 

You meant M/W type CDI has power cut?

Just curious, anybody ride 125z with full face helmet? Lol.

from what i heard of, yes. it comes with the newer batch of 125zeds. the older versions one has a yamaha logo on it. that's the best one i think.

complete equipments, as pic shown, CDi is personal preference :)

anyway the shop is along the block 1017.. its at the center.. its a small shop as it is shared. if the shop close, another trusted shop is the first shop on the right if you facing 1017 n ur back is 1016.. all the best

huh? mana mau dapat itu CDi connector? and how to connect to the relay? cannot be you open up the wire and solder to the relay one by one o_O

CDi connector, scrap yard is our best friend.

tiada melibatkan kereja-kereja soldering :cheeky:

 

cara penyumbungan wayar, ikut lah kesenangan dan citerase masing-masing :)

i hate soldering job also :cheeky:

for perfect matching, your right side fork have to change,

Original brand disc new around RM300-350

right side fork alone cost RM200++

I want to ask, wat are the symptoms for clutch slipping n gear prob? Rode my bike, clutch in to change my gear its ok then there are some noise coming from either my gears or the chain...

for slip try out below method for slip clutch:-

1.drag your bike to 7000-8000RPM in 2-5 gear,

shift up on 8000-8500RPM, will feel the engine's rev increase, but the bike is "lazy" to go.

2.when slip clutch,burn out, its cant do it.

 

Shift gear problem,if minor case :-

1.clutch biting point too "near"

2.insufficient gear oil.

in additional to it, ur clutch housing might be broken causes the "tak tak tak" sound when clutch in when change gear

Guys, my brakes giving me problems. I can pull the brakes lever fully, and when i let go, it doesnt go back to the original position. Meaning to say it doesnt trigger the brake switch hence my brake light is always on. What could be the problem? I just change brake pads last 2 days and it seems that the brake pads are hitting my disc. It is normal for new brake pads?
