anyone DIY custom fit projector headlight to your bike?

 

if yes what are the materials needed? what brand/location did u got ur projector headlight from?

 

ahboy selling 2 kind of projector headlight.. 1 expensive one.. i think $100+

 

another is with angel eye.. 1pair $45..

 

any others??

Are you thinking of replacing your current headlight with projector or adding on projector as aux light

just go buy the headlamp of the madass. It's twin projection type, and lup in HID and you get a really good headlamp

I love the Madass lamps ............... HID complatible as well.

but if madass lamp not practical.. cos i wanna convert the bottom aux light of spark into a projector light to work somehow like a foglight.. w/o moulding of the bodykits..

Madass projectors are a bit big to be used as fog lights. If you have the money, you can consider Hella Micro DE. Last time I checked, they cost about $220 locally and slightly less than SGD$200 in one of the malls in KL.

To tool within the lamp casing will requires lot of skill - good luck

Are you operating on the headlamp to get the projectors in? It will not be easy to do that. If you are going to put 4 projectors in there to replace the stock lamps, your bikes electrical system is going to suffer big time.

 

I believe the stock lamps are of the low wattage type. Usually those aux lamps you get outside will be H3 55w, it will put a huge strain on your electrical system.

 

Why not check with limbat if he has any high power led solutions.

LAB sells projectors, but I am not sure how many different types they have.

 

You can also go to concorde auto accessories, they have a few types there.

what bulb and wattage for these lamps ? Beam pattern, are these fog or spot ? How much each ?

These Fog lamps are using H3 base - stock is 55w but we can change them. Price is s$30 a pc or $50 a pair.

Btw they are the clear lens type ............. Cheers
