Buy a nomber plate from a 5-year renewed COE's Bike(non-renewedable COE)

 

i have a friend who scrap his bike soon(COE ending soon and non-renewedable), his nomber plate was Fx 2233 x.

 

possible i buy the nomber plate from him?

I heard from my shop that put old number plate on new bike is $100, old number plate to old bike (meaning 2nd hand), is $1300. Not too sure about that. Must take with a pinch of salt ah.

Sorry, don't mean to hijack this thread. But where can I get information on how to "read" the license plates. How do I know how old a bike is?

Old bikes can have 'new' license plates. You should be able to check on the one motoring website.
