PROCEDURE OF getting a bike with private seller

I juz want to enquire the step needed to get a bike from private seller for example step1 do wat step 2 do wat etc till the bike is urs..haha

 

it will help alot of noob like me out there

1.find the bike

take your time to find you will get the good deal.

lookout for any problem on bike

eg

engine leaking

paint work not so important.

wear and tear.spocket/tire etc

 

2.neg the price.

all price should include transfer fee

any more loan from bike shop?

 

3.make your own insurance b4 going to lta for transfer

i thk better if u do it at bike shop.. they settle everyth for u... no need go so many diff places... petrol+time wasted oso ard there liao... go shop pay xtra 10 dollar they settle everyth for u... tat's wat i do...

step 2. buy insur

step 3 meet seller at lta tranfer name

step 4 ... bike is yours

Best b4 you buy a bike check for full condition, test ride and really check properly.. Dun like me, got 1 bike chui, spend more then half of what i bought the bike to do repairs..

lol.. so how to test?? rev engine real hard/kick the gears and play with suspension?

get someone who is experience.

some things can be heard like engine sound(loud might need top overhaul),gear changing smooth a not(might need to change clutch plate).suspension no need to play just sit and see the bike will come up again a not.

 

2nd hand bike are all not 99.9% working

even new bike also got factory error.

 

PS.if next time u wanna sell your bike i use your method to test yours bike.will you be happy?

of cause if u wanna buy my bike, use the same method i die la.. so best sell to someone who is lazy to do HW.....

i use a even worst style.

open up the engine and measure all the things see the wear and tear level!! hahaha:angel:

yes thats why selling 2B bikes are easy.. cheap and fast... ppl lack of patients...
