Need quick advice...

My bikes IU unit is not functioning properly. I say not functioning properly because when i enter ERP gantry, it seems to work. My $$$ got deduct. But at those carparks using iu to enter/ exit, i cannot seem to go in or out without a fight or the car park person helping me. Really not sure what the problem is over here. I'm suffering quite a lot because my season parking is using iu to enter. I have wasted 3 days already plus 2 summons(appeal in progress). Am i to get a new iu? or is there a problem with my bike? I even recharged my battery thinking that it was a weak batt that caused this problem. Really need fast help here. Thanks!

Maybe it's the way you positioned your IU? Private scanners are not that reliable as compared to the ultra massive government ERP gantry.

I did not seem to have this problem till a few days ago... other bikes also seem to have no problem going thru my car park... so the problem must be with my bike or iu... but which one? i'm afraid going to bike shop will make me spend unnecessarily.... spend $$$$ WO fixing the problem...

If your IU is still under warranty, why not try going to VICOM and explain the problem there. They might do a replacement for you i guess.

Went to inspect IU. The mech told me that my IU is perfectly fine. No problems.

After pondering for a while, i removed my IU bracket and tried WO the bracket. I can take my IU out and bring it closer to scan. It seem to work... This maybe a temp solution only.... hmmm...
