Met up with synman this afternoon.

Wah he really look as if he is a tester for Kymco.

After fixing scoot, Ah lau the chief ask synman ok you go test see how.

Ha ha got to test the front variator LEA7 by synman without me actually buying to test.

It seems acceleration wise not so go :p

Now waiting for synman's review of his new clutch and new moty's EO.

Collected my new relay(for Myroad 700) for my LED signal bulb.

Direct replacement without any modification and best of all it's also of the audible type meaning there is tick tock tick tock sound.

Only problems is......

It flashed a bit slow. Not enough to make people excited when others/motorist look at it.

Those that flashed very fast have an impression that it is urgent and make people give way to you. At least i felt like that when i see other cars/bikes with very fast blinking signal.

Flashing is OK with the original relay but the glowing duration is too short and it's not bright enough and it remain on even in the cut off mode

Wanted to use the Hazard Relay since it work so well with my LED signal system but is of a different kind.

Hazard system totally unaffected by LED

LED Signal affecting relay system.

It flashes OK with the Original LEA7 relay but duration of brightness is very short and during the cut off phase the bulb remains lit.

KKE5 relay installed but flashes too slowly.

Rear view with engine off.

Rear view with engine running. Slightly faster due to operating voltage at 12.8V charging phase.

Amour All.

Tried a few

Black Magic tyre shine

Meguair Plastic protaectant.

Some others can't remeber.

So far the best and cheapest is Amour All.

Not because its cheap, but its really good.

Cheapest i bought in NTUC big bottle $6.50

now selling$8.50

Shop around, its the most common and best.

Spray on spread it and leave it. The longer you leave it the better it absorb.

If the white is stubborn use a tootbrush to remove stain or dirt.

It also have UV protection:thumb:

In fact you can use on any plastic, rubber, vinyl and any thing rubbery and plasticky, just don't use on seat and windscreen ha ha. Tyre side wall must be very very careful, if you put on side wall at least a week cannot play corner, very dangerous :p

It also have UV protection:thumb:

It is fun in a way if I really was the "tester".....:(

The LEA7 front variator is really too worn out so probably I felt really lack of power when riding with it.

Instead, change my back variator to the LEA7 instead but retain the LGE5 front variator.

Only 1st day and so far the vibration is down to minimum. Still there but not in a stuttering way.

Hoping to change the clutch pads later on when it is release.

At least it is not so irritating at slow speed. But had trouble trying to hit 130km/h.

With the LEA7 variator, the feel of the clutch pad is like the one we tested but on the LGE5 instead.

So I'm thinking how the new clutch pad would feel on the LEA7...

Me and Parotae was commenting on maybe the DT300 needs a slightly more fitting clutch bell..... ;)

Class 4 oil? Very Good!

Wonder dropping the rpm by 100 helps in anything.... less vibration?

Maybe if we can drop the rpm to 1300 instead..... lol just a thought

Is class 4 very good? Never really bother on the classes, just put in and see how....:p

So far don't feel any much difference, the engine still feels about the same.

Maybe engine is too new to feel the difference. Maybe will try 300V the next round to see the difference.

@synman

When you say back variator do you mean the clutch?

This morning I had a call from my mechanics asking me to take the bike to the garage to do some checks for Kymco UK. I took it to them during my lunch hour and they meassured the bell and inspected it carefully to see if it had a bent or something. they seem happy with the state of the bell.

Now as per their conversation with Kymco UK whilst I was there, they have ordered an improved version of the clutch. I am not sure what do they mean by improved??? they took my VIN number so I assume they already know that I have the LGE5, I am crossing my fingers that there is newer version but don't want to keep my hopes too high, if such thing existed I am sure you guys will get it before us in Europe.

Will let you know what it is as soon as they get it.

Nothing much i suppose, for idling only. Mind went back to 1600rpm.

I have not change my setting to 4. I remembered that at 4 the rear static sag is not enough. For a good suspension setup, must have some static sag(scoot lowers a bit when you seat on it) to compensate for suspension stretch if not when the absorber rebound over a hump the rear tire may lift off the ground. Don't know if it's the correct theory :p

I will still try your suggestion just to see if it is better, hopefully i do not bank even lower and fall because the clearance is indeed better :D

Class 4 oil are like Amsoil, read before that it is more durable and more lasting due to..........:p i can't remember something like less additive or viscosity improver.

As for class 5 like Redline, 300V they are so it seem very good but not good thingy. I have to read the webby on oil that you posted again.

Yes i think synman meant the rear torque driver unit as the rear variator. I was confuse too when i read it :D

Hopefully it's not the unit that we got to test, it's working fine for me though but...synman's clutches went "cracked"
