I used back the old box Givi 450. So far 700I doesnt have a top of its own to match its design. Into 200km, petrol tank still got 2 bars to E. I assume the bike can still another 50km.

I changed the standard SH40i on my DT125i for a SH45i top box cos the SH40i looks small, and I need larger space. But after changing to the SH45, I realise it's still small looking from the back. Haha.

Next scooter, I'll change to GIVI 52L. =)

Anyways, do report back your first tank fuel consumption?

super bike :thumb: I really like the headlight and all the leds :D

Lol. Bro, there is one more white myroad at showroom waiting for you.

First tank tested. I pumped petrol at the moment the fuel gauge.

227km at 12l. Reserve tank is 3 litres.

To make an estimation - 227 divided by 12l. 18.9km per litre. If 18.9 x 15. Full tank can go around 280km.

Once i finished run in, will use the greentech fuel module. Would be excellent if it can help to push 20km per litre. 300km for 15 litre is solid!

Wa.....52 litres.....lol

Any problems with squeezing in between traffic?

No problemo bro. Done it. But havent done the expressway accident/peak hour traffic jam yet. Where most cars are very near to each other. As compared to tourer with panniers or any bikes modded with panniers, myroad is actually smaller in size. Squeezing is generally no problem. But i dont do it much with myroad. Just few minutes earlier to destination only. I do it if i observed the gap to the front of the junction is big enough for the bike. If not, i will just queue up. I find myself looks pretty stupid to be caught between 2 cars. Lol

Bike is very good for low speed travelling too. Its not hot either. Always not in the hurry to ride away.

Yeap. Engine not between your legs, but rather beneath the storage space.

Me too. Where the Malaysians with their Honda Cubs and CB400 squeeze in between traffic at traffic light stops, I don't dare sia. Haha. I'm still coming to terms with the width of the DT125i.

I only squeeze if its between slow moving traffic.

I always squeeze with my pcx. Small and nifty. Its built for that purpose anyway. Primarily myroad is not built to cut here, squeeze there. Later hit car mirrors, not very swee already. Besides when i queue up obediently, alot of people is admiring my bike. Lol.

Haha. Same.

I realise many people take a second glance at the DownTown as well.

I've knocked into a taxi wing mirror before. But fortunately nothing broke, and I just folded back the mirrors. Then we went our ways.

So what bikes/ scooters do you have now?

You traded in your Deauville for the MyRoad?

I realised that my DT125i struggles to perform when its raining/ strong headwind.

Haha. Can really feel the bike just refuse to go above 100kph.

Saw a Maserati GranTurismo in white.

Went after it. It was going at 120-140kph. I only managed to catch up with it when we all slowed down at the speed camera.

My DT125i was screaming at 10,000rpm doing 120kph. It can't go faster than 120kph, so confirm that's the top speed.

When I went past the Maserati, though it was an elderly man driving, I still gave him the thumbs up. He looked stunned for a while. Haha.

But then I sped off.

Oh yes. How's the underseat storage space for the MyRoad 700i?

Happy with it? I saw at the showroom, Citimac there, that the underseat storage, though deep has this protrusion at the front part of the storage, resulting in a full face helmet having to be stored sideways instead of down. Haha!

There's 2 kind of thumbs up, he might thought you gave him the sarcastic one ha ha.

Yep, love it to the max. one helmet side way. The rear one can accomodate helmet in the down position

No lah.

My thumbs up is the positive one, praising his car =)

I thought the DT300i is limited to 140kph? If take away the limiter, plus do some other modification, can top 150-160kph no?

So in a sense, the DT125i is almost as fast as the DT300i with regards to top speed? Haha!

Of course, acceleration totally different thing altogether.

Same as DT125i. With pillion, it has more aerodynamic drag, severe loss in power, etc.

I don't dare pillion anymore after my first attempt.

When new about 100km can go to 140km/h. Now struggling to reach 120km/h and up. Take too long on singapore road, gave up. Maybe it's the oil. Don't know what rating of oil that came with the scoot. I hope not 30 oil. If so, that's why can reach 140km/h. Now the oil 20W50, i think too thick but its the recommended rating.

Daelim S3 can reach 140km/h wah for a 125cc scooter. Keep showing up on the ads on SBF.

Hope 25th come soon. The irritating ads keep poping up on my iphone when ever i change a page and always end up clicking the ad to open another page, very irritating. G-max something until i can remember now ha ha.

It's the same with all small cc scooter, not enough power i guess...except maybe with the exception of runner 180SP( Scooter) ha ha. 2up still can be on par with a BMW 3series( Ah beng executive type look, 316 or a 320 if not sure i lose). The BMW drag i also drag from traffic, ahead till 80km/h then BMW overtake ha ha.

I realise the DT windshield is just nice, effective enough for my height.

When I sit up straight (I'll usually slouch a little), the wind blast is horrible! Haha. Helmet all buffetting about.

Can't imagine how tall people tahan the wind blast. Hehe.

For my pcx, speed cant go further from 105. After i changed the rollers and clutch. Hit 120km, no problem. No more restriction

So for my DT125i, if I changed my rollers and clutch, may hit 140kph? Haha.

Anyways, the Daelim S3 125, I ask the salesman, he say, gotta do some modification before the scoot can hit 140kph. Or else stock is 120kph too.

Oh, how's the windshield for the MyRoad 700i? Is it effective in preventing buffetting of the helmet?

And how's slow speed/ parking for the heavy MyRoad? Haha.
