Wah, like that is false advertising leh. The ad is all over SBF.

Just like the bajaj pulsar 180? At first advertise on papers 55km/l, then become 50km/l, then become 45km/l? Or is it the emission gets stricter?

They're right what. The S3 125 can indeed reach 140kph, if u mod lah.

There's nothing in the advert that specifies that it can do so in stock.

Yeah. The BAJAJ Pulsar 180 DTS-i suppose to have exceptional fuel economy, but not many can top 50km/Lm

Haha

You mean they can put an ad on SINGAPORE BIKES FORUM saying S3 can reach 140km/h but so long as they didn't mention it's after modification it's ok?!

Then MotorSport should advertise Downtown 125i can reach 180km/h because MS did not mention that it is done in stock. So like this is not false advertising? Is that what you mean?

If MS decide to put the downtown fairing with 125i logo wrapped over a hayabusa then can claim can hit over 300km/h because MS did not say it can do it in stock? Ha ha ha :D

Wah, you got sales man talent :thumb:

I mean they're not at fault for displaying the top speed the bike can achieve.

DT125i how can reach 180kph?

Welcome to the world of advertising. =)

Ok lah cannot, don't want to pull your leg already lah. I wanted to say drop a 300cc engine but still only up to 160km/h.

When advertiser advertise their product, it is understood that the product the customer is getting is as it is without any modification or alteration, hence to protect themselves, there is always a fine print.

Advertisement need not be misleading but honesty doesn't pay most of the time in selling products.

It is obvious that you think out of the box and most common people like me cannot see how you see the way you do. Poor us :D (pun intended) can't think out of the box so remains poor ha ha.

Lol.

Is cos I kenna cheated with things I buy (electronic gadgets etc), or I don't know how to make full use of the gadgets.

Advertising is to make sure products sell. They can say all they want. Haha! We as buyers/ consumers have to discern what the actual product we're buying.

For my pcx, speed cant go further from 105. After i changed the rollers and clutch. Hit 120km, no problem. No more restriction

Hi Doremi,

What roller did you change? Brand? Weight? What is the weight of original weight?

Did you change clutch or Variator? What brand? Did you change the torque spring too? Did you do it yourself at which shop?

Thanks.

I used the taiwanese brand for my rollers set. Bought myself. Clutch, i used polini. Done at future scootering.

No more slow speed stuttering. Acceleration and mid range pick up good. Top speed also increase to 120kph. FC not affected too.

Oh, how's the windshield for the MyRoad 700i? Is it effective in preventing buffetting of the helmet?

And how's slow speed/ parking for the heavy MyRoad? Haha.

Windshield is just nice for singapore road. I havent tested NSHW at highspeed yet. Will do it after i fixed up the gps soon. Slow speed travelling no problem at all. Parking maybe an issue if the bikes in the front row do not park within their lot. As myroad is elongated, reversing into those lots will be impossible. or maybe will take lotsa time.

Posted

Yeah. Haha. Realised that I can't suka suka park in any parking lots available, especially if other bikes not parked properly.

The DT125i is darn wide and long, plus long wheelbase too.

Wah, Kymco jialat. So many after 1 year already start selling liao.

Have seen most of the owners change within 1 and half years. What does it says?

Some more 125i willing to change to 125Z or spark. Huh??? How come???

Next will be topgearalwaysrock.

Selling $6500, like this lost how much huh?

Posted

Oh.

Chey. No wonder. $6500 probably is also COI.

Still not too bad lah. Usually 1 yr or less lose the most (At least 20%)?? If it's just $1-2k difference from the new model, then might as well buy new right?? Haha.

Anyways, MS was saying the machine price for the DT125i is $6,400

Add in COE, GST, 1/2-year-RT, IU, License Plate, etc.... The price is about $9,200-$9,400 (Assuming $2k COE).

Insurance is counted seperately of course.

Haha.

Don't tempt me to change my variators and clutch.

Never regret changing the aftermarket kit for my PCX.

Abit of more torque give us abit more advantage in overtaking. I feel its very dangerous to attempt to overtake but failure to do so due to lack of torque. When i pick up speed, the vehicle behind me also follow. When I hit my max speed but unable to overtake the car on my left, i might get rear ended.

Posted

There're always the mirrors for us to judge the speed of the traffic coming from behind us.

Haha.

If no power to overtake, then don't overtake. Haha.

But you with your MyRoad 700i.... Power is at hand. yOu just need to twist to call for it!

The MyRoad 700i is tested in this month's issue of MotorCultureAsia. Check it out!

Yes agree totally. For you just a short while for me is 9 years of that with a small scooter ha ha.

During over taking, car you overtaking decide to speed up, lan lan go back to it's back again and the car go slow again. Have to wait until jam or traffic light to by pass the inconsiderate driver.
