Bike breakdown = parking offence?

date of recipt can be of a different date, can understand.

But

1) the bike recovery man can state the date & time of ur bike towed

2) workshop can state the date bike was received from recovery truck .... date of receipt differs is ok mah

if u have such gd grounds why pay the fine? how much is the fine? $100?? well if i was made to pay $100 bucks for something that i didn't do, i would get pretty pissed. Drafting a letter and looking for the driver would be something like a 1.5 hrs thing. saving u 100 bucks... i think its pretty worth it. IF u want to pay, i have got no complaints... but i still think that being accused of doing something that u didnt do, won't make me feel very gd...

 

Ya $100. It might not be the date issue. Maybe my first letter write too long he don't like? Was unexpected to know it was rejected, but must understand tp look at it differently, parked means parked, cannot take our reasons for granted no matter how "bullet proof" it is. At least for my case u can see.

Thanks for highlighting that but this thing happened many weeks ago I doubt the man can remember.

1) i've re-read what u've posted, i'm guessing, since u attached the receipt the 2nd time, they dont accept since u might cheat, besides the date is different.

 

2) there're a lot of incidents/accidents in ur area n u're just one of the unlucky one.

 

3) ur bike's been there too long, 1st time tp pass by summon, 2nd time he give chance didn't summon, but write on ur case he's there twice.

 

4) the way u write is not convincing enough, remember he's not there, so u have to provide all the hard facts right, one false word he found n it's bye bye.

 

if u're gonna write in again, i suggest u get a few friends to proof read it n provide all the hard facts. ur biggest loophole i c is still the receipt date, all in all, try to keep all ur things short n tidy.

they cant know the real truth, most of the time it's just base on benefit of doubts, but u must sound real n use real facts.

 

if u've read the thread on how to write a proper appeal, u'll know that u can't be forceful with them. in the 1st place, u're wrong, u're begging for lenency.

Emm.. I don't think there is a rule that states the person must be there until the tow arrive, but rather it will be excused from summon more effectively. I got a friend who still got summon because his bike got no more petrol and parked at double yellow lines, waiting for his friend to bring him petrol. Tp said he failed to maintain basic working condition of vehicle causing danger, double charge. And what has it got to do with the trees?

 

 

actually it's an unwritten rule, either u stay until the tow arrive, or u push it to a proper parking area. by not being there equals to u parking the vehicle.

 

for ur friend who got summon, perhaps he spoke rudely to the TP. when TP approaches, u better say u'll move the vechile rather than argue saying spoilt or no petrol.

 

last time, ppl used to pluck tree branches n put behind their vehicle to say it's spoilt, however the branches sometimes get thrown on the road, causing hinderance. trees r under nea's control, do u know u could be fined by damaging or cutting down a tree without permit.
