~lolx..Bought this coolent always at SGD 10.00. Always overflow out of my bike thorugh the tube whenever i ride fast no matter how much repair i've done to my cooling system. Anyway, when empty and temp rising easily, i always buy and top up since its cheap...

~Thereafter went to another shop wanna buy engine ice which is available there.. But shop recommended me a cheaper brand at SGD 30.00 . Bought it, and so far no leakage even going at 140km/h for 15mins...

Somebody changed radiator for $140? Locally made right? I find it hard to believe that you can get the Japanese made stock stuff for $140. Brand new?

 

I agree that the Blade is a pretty cool bike (in all senses of the word), and in fact you CAN use distilled water in Singapore as long as you are not stuck in traffic and everything else is alright. The coolant is slightly better but most importantly has the antifreeze additive.

 

Anyways, I would still use coolant as it is less damaging in the long run. It being derived from petroleum products. Water=damage for bikes. It's like a triple-distilled 50% vodka for us. (",)

I don't think antifreeze is really that useful, unless you intend to ride your blade into a freezer, or tour up north to moscow or something.

anyway my dad jus warm up my bike jus nw and was complaining tis and tat.he say how come ur batt like weak then i say my starter loose lah must gently press wan then he say y dn u open up and service then i told him how i walk down like tat.u also nvr teach me how to service lol.but he mention how come my bike exhaust put oil inside then i was like huh?then he say i start for u then the engine alot of sound wan then the car park behind kana stain frm ur exhaust then i over there tell him 4 stroke cannot be 2t must be rain water or wat.sound mayb valve clearance haven do lah.sian tis tell u nt to let a moto lao jiao start ur bike.they either complain or gif u alot of remark but nvr help u...

I think he meant $140 for a GSXR400 radiator, should be 2nd hand I guess.

 

Anti-frezze is totally useless in singapore. Anti-freeze is used in countries that experience winter, as in winter the temp gets very cold and the anti-freeze prevents the coolant from freezing up. As I mentioned before try to get a coolant that is not glycol based. As far as I know waterwetter and coolaide are the coolants that does not contain anti-freeze. But waterwetter is not magnesium safe.
