i think 4-pot caliper is enough David only IF u want to use with the stock Nissin master pump. the choices will be Nissin or Brembo.

 

bear in mind, our stock master pump internal diameter (i.d) is small (12.7mm)...and it has been designed for 2-pot caliper. even RVF master pump i.d is bigger (14mm). i'm afraid at long term, it will damage the stock master pump itself if it been using with 6-pot caliper.

 

theoretically, our stock master pump was designed to receive certain amount of the rate of brake fluid coming back from 2-pot caliper. imagine that if u are using 6-pot caliper, then the rate of fluid will become 3 times more, so, because of the master pump size, it will slow down the fluid motion thus at long term, will jammed the brake system.

 

so, if got extra money, go for 6-pot, change the master pump and also the brake line too :thumb:

 

and sorry for my bad english. :cry:

 

and lets hear what sifoo alex would say :thumb:

haha a lot of ppl nowadays do illegal modifications on the stock end can which can b so loud.... but dunno if it is powerful anot... man... imagine 500 bucks fine on a cheapskate stock end can... rather buy an aftermarket lo...

R6 06 master pump is a 16*18 brembo pump..

more than enough for cbr400..

but indeed isnt worth the price to pay for that fine !

just ask him upgrade to a class 2 bike , put all his money on that bike better . =P

New Suzuki GSXR600 K9 just less than 20k OTR(but depend on your insurance), got few unit at ASPoon :thumb:

 

most high tech 600cc, come with Driving Selective Mode.

hahas if im not wrong is the 1 at ubi... cos he bought his sp last yr for 3.3k machine price den... after tt... in 1 month his lite fuse... went back to fix... the shop say tis 1 not under warranty den ask him pay 20 bucks for replacing the bulb... tt time we were all newbies yea dunno much... den after tt the clutch spoilt... went back to ask the shop say nth 1.. but the sound so damn loud leh the crackin sound... went to another shop ask they say its the clutch thing 4got wat izzit oredi... den went back to ASPoon ask abt it they den say o ya is the clutch thing but say to replace nidda pay 250++ but its still under warranty of 1 month leh... lol... they refuse to change... den LL lo... haha... true la realli muz noe the mechs long enuf den they do things gd for u haha... but hahas his was the first bike u c... so no choice lo...

its been so long...
