the bike will told u, it need refilling

just like u open throttle the bike will lazy to move, just turn

the fuel knob to res, and ride to nearest current oil shop.

 

res fuel can last u about 55-60km.

18-21km/L around for NC23.

 

no point getting the fuel gauge and diy on the existing tank..

cos the shape of the tank will cause the gauge to be incorrect..

the best way is monitor the tachometer..

for every refill of petrol, juz reset it..

one full tank can travel a certain distance with some variances..

So if 18-21km/l,hw long can one tank last...as in hw many litres can one tank hold?...planning to go service my bike this week...the standard,oil,filter and carb...i tink wanna do at x-performance in jb...does engine flush make any diff?

i'm not too sure either. because when i'm riding. i dont have e feeling of e bike is dying or smth. i also dont see e headlights being dimmer then before while cruising. =/ when i switch on e ignition, e voltage states 11.7v. i'm going to e bike shop to check. hate to see e voltage so screwed. i'm afriad my coil and rectifier spoil and there goes my $. ):

my cbr400 can go up to 320km before reserve. depends on riding style. lowest also chao chao 300km den reserve. but i srsly no idea how big is my fuel tank. when i reached reserve, i can pump up till 14.5L of petrol.

when no lights and all. idling i rev maximum also 13.1v. usually before this it will go up to 14.4v.

 

and also when i start my bike alr i throttle abit to abt 1.5rpm the voltage will range from 13.8 to 14.4v. but now when i throttle to 1.5rpm

for warming up e bike. it doesnt go more than 12v. ):

 

when i cruise the voltage is ard 11.3v. =/

 

tmr i go shop to check e voltmeter wiring. hopefully nth is wrong. ):

320km i quite alot. mine 300km hit reserve already. but i only put 12.5L of petrol. i also dunno how much is my reserve.

u can starting find current oil shop when your trip meter reach around 240km.

NC23 is quite eat current oil if compare to NC29

i was get the best also 265km.

but is worth for the power

have free time, check out your headlight socket, charging wiring and rectifier socket.

your alternator coil still have charging there, please dont wait.....wise u will change alternator coil soon.

ic...but i have a new question...juz now when i started my bike,the temp gauge didnt move...but i can feel the heat if i touch the radiator...and i see some smoke coming from the radiator up to the handle bars...but maybe its juz rain water...

that time i also see smoke coming up to the handlebar there when i wanna start my bike after i stopped for ard 10 mins. den the temp went all the way full since then. when i go bike shop, bike coolant all empty le. they ask me change the coolant tape n try cos they cant find leakage. den the senior mechanic say might need to change head gasket cos when he throttle, he saw bubble from the coolant. might be air pressure in the piston.
