Hey guys,was riding my cbr400 N model for the past 5 months and feel that the engine not smooth like something stuck in it but after changing my street legal exhaust,i found out that my stock exhaust is the 1 giving problem haha.

 

Anyway just to share with you guys about buying micron exhaust which i'm using now.

 

1st Step you have to go mezzo and pay $40 for transferring ownership(micron no more production in sg so no need to think of getting a 1st hand)

 

2nd Step you have to go LTA and pay $53.50 to scan all the documents and get a letter for inspection at VICOM.Apply to MICRON ONLY as it stopped production so LTA need to scan all document to make sure it is from previous batches and not imported)

 

Last step Go to VICOM and pay $78.10 for inspection.

 

you pay 40+53.50+78.10=$171.60(inclusive of GST)

 

Before you get the endcan you need to pay $171.60

micron exhaust market rate around $500

Together you need at least $671.60(+$50 if the endcan got no sliencer and you might want to custom make 1)

as in tt time when i get my yoshi pipe like juz pay $15 at motoworld transfer ownership den bring to vicom inspect for ard $80 cant remember how much izzit.

 

but den y nid $53.50 for scannin of documents??

ha i really dont know what to answer you yet.id really like to ride to thailand but i know the amount of commitment and preparation it takes for such a trip,and knowing myself,not sure if i can commit to it....maybe when you have more details we can discuss a bit more..but i appreciate the thought.thanks

 

not so much of a prepatation la.. jus hv to make sure ur bike is in good condition.. change ur tyres, battery, chain if necessarily.. the rest are just normal maintainence.. i went up wif alex, atremis they all this april to hatyai.. atremis was still riding a cbr400 then.. we took our time and pace.. so the journey itself isnt that tiring if u have ample rest the night b4 moving off.. however we need to confirm for the trip this nov because of hotel issues..

I switched out my exhaust and air filter on my CBR 400 to aftermarket. And it is running very lean, anywhere in Singapore sell the Jet kits? Or any shop that does the jetting?
