I switched out my exhaust and air filter on my CBR 400 to aftermarket. And it is running very lean, anywhere in Singapore sell the Jet kits? Or any shop that does the jetting?

running lean mean fuel and air ratio is in form of too much air but little fuel..

in any carb, there are 2 diff jet in it

one pilot jet while the other is main jet..

these jet control the flow of the fuel going into the carb.

i saw my frens put fractory jet stage 1. but abit ex. so i wanna know how much and where to but. my fren put de work shop at ubi. but now change till dunno where liao.

eh.. too much air but little fuel?? how do i feel if my bike is runnin too lean?? any form of signs to show that??

 

also i dunno y tis few days my bike like got tis weird feelin... when i throttle at low rpm, the bike is like as thou not much petrol or somethin and it gets my bike to back fire (not the loud kind but like the mis-firing type.) any idea y? went planet to check wif ah chong, but he say mayb is fuel pump prob.... he not sure nidda noe how the bike back fire... as my bike dun always back fire... its like random....

maybe down hill can get 250km/h @ 16500RPM

PC is for FI bikes onli..

cbr 400 is a carb and not a FI bike..

unless the owner go for massive mod but hardly in SG..

the weather of SG have being raining for couple of days..

is it normally happen after a ride in rain or expose under rain?

if that so, check the plug cap..

 

to check whether the bike is running lean, is to check the colour of the tip of the spark plugs..

the spark plug tip will be whitish if the bike is running lean..

correct fuel/air ratio will produce a brown colour tip..

black colour tip will mean the fuel/air ratio is at the rich side..

micron have a design for header that most other brands dun have for class 2 bike..
