the weather of SG have being raining for couple of days..

is it normally happen after a ride in rain or expose under rain?

if that so, check the plug cap..

 

to check whether the bike is running lean, is to check the colour of the tip of the spark plugs..

the spark plug tip will be whitish if the bike is running lean..

correct fuel/air ratio will produce a brown colour tip..

black colour tip will mean the fuel/air ratio is at the rich side..

 

icic... but the back fire thin seems to haf occur for some time oredi... juz that it seems to get worst tis few days mayb due to the rain or somethin...

 

but how do i check the plugs?? like onli plug change den i can get to check it haha... unless i noe how to confidently remove them and put them back.... onli noe a bit on whr it is located but not sure how to remove it haha....

check the plug cap rubber insulation..

make sure the rubber is not harden or crack.

when plug in the cap into the spark plug, must be tight(cannot pull the cap off the plug easily).

as for plug colour check, either u bring to the mech and check for u or u learn how to remove it. is rather easy to diy..

can a pc3 be used for cbr 400?

 

I have seen and heard about cbr400 with pc3.

I not sure will it work.

But i guess there wont be people who put pc3 on his bike but cant use de ba?

never heard of it though.am pretty sure its only meant for bikes with fuel injection.

for the spark to have firing, the ign coil will produce a rather high power from the normal 12V within the harness..

if the plug cap is not secure properly to the spark plug, the high power is not transfer well to the spark plugs resulting in misfiring..

wet weather will get water to get into the spark plug cap and short the circuit if the rubber insulation is broken.

wad do u mean not all model is illegal? i try using blueflame be4, inspection canot pass and lta dun wanna to produce cert already after cbr400 for 5th bike. dissapointed man. good and loud pipe.. but den consider illegal mah coz no cert. but as wad i noe in singapore there's only 4 cbr400 that use blueflame with cert. heard from bike shops.

I seen it around UBI industrial 1 to 2 years back. when i parked my SP

beside this cbr, this rider took out a small black box from his seat compartment and dunno do what thing la then ride off. I asked around,ppl tell me it a PC3.
