nc29!! sian radiator chui also..nt sure bout the water system..but alot of shops qoute me ard $200 - $300...

 

lol definately not the muffler tip got oil cause the smoke come out machiam 2T bike LOL...g_G...engine condition all no prob

 

radiator chui small issue liao if coolant leak into engin den big problem so be4 that happen faster solve it will be gd if not min $800 for it

ur coolant choke already u go try take out radi cap be4 u start bike den see when u start the bike will the coolant flow out anot if flow out den is choke liao

 

 

 

no leh. didnt flow out. bike shop ppl tell me is my radiator the cap there not good liao. must change radiator.

radiator cap just cost u around S$5 :cheeky:

 

i think he mean the radiator where u screw in the cap that part..

200 - 300 for new radiator + hosing... any good shops to recon?

 

wat i dun understand is the post u posted previously..

if engine no problem, exhaust should not have smoke as u mention.

spoil radiator will not cause exhaust to give white smoke..

is the gasket that give way, then give the white smoke.

lol what are probably the reasons then?!

 

just a common wear and tear :cheeky:

 

eat black oil and white smoke come out,

if u riding NC29, that's cost for overhaul the engine~

if u riding NC23, still can doing top-overhaul.

 

once u done, can last u around others 5-10years ++

depend how u use.....

 

the engine NC29 and NC23 are different :cheeky:

NC29--Cylinder barrel is build with crank case together.

When a bike lack of petrol, will not vibrate and stall in some case. Cos carb bike hav a small reservoir to hold the petrol. That y there is a float kidney in every carb. Is able to restart cos of moving speed to push the bike and the pump suddenly work again.

prefer take new bike.

when the gasket gone case, the engine oil and coolant will leak into the combustion chamber..

resulting in engine oil being "eaten". coolant disappearing..

lack of coolant will result overheating of bike..

that is the link..

one way to check is the draining of engine oil.. if the oil look whitish, means the coolant leaking into the engine section and mix wif engine oil.

coolant disappearing can mean oso leaking cooling system. spoil hose, spoil cap or spoil rad.

the info u post previously have the link all mix up..

eh... i done my radiator at planet motors for ard 200... new one... but is chiong one... ur tokin abt the original radiator or the chiong radiator?

chiong one if i remember correctly ah boy sells it for $80.but waiting for it to arrive is another problem.

in SG mkt, usually is 55/60W bulb cos is common bulb for S4.

actually CBR400 uses is 35/60W bulb..

if u are using the S4 type, the voltmeter reading will be affected..

:)
