Haven't confirm scrap yet... Last week of April I will scrap... Now waiting for buyers to buy everything for $2k. If no buyers then I scrap, meantime I find buyers for the parts first, so I don't have to cab everything back to my house... Those parts that people want, I leave at the shop so it's easier for me and the buyer to install, no need take cab to bike shop for those heavy and bulky items like header and fairings and pipe ma...

Recently the tot cross my mind to get a CBR400, instead of just the DRZ

As we all noe its a pretty old bike, and if I were to get it, i'll wanna do the full engine work.

i'm very noob to 4stroke bikes so pls pardon my ingnorance.

does anyone know the approx price to get these stuff done?

 

1)engine overhaul (for all the oil seals and bearing and stuff in the engine)

2)valve clearance

3)rewire the entire bike (or at least the critical bits)

 

also, can anyone advise on the mileage? how many KM can 1litre get you?

Different cbr400 for different mileage... For stock cbr400 like mine, 280km till it hits reserve... U overhaul engine never change the block and pistons? Then what for u overhaul? Lol.

Top block not sure if there's any stock left in Singapore, but my mechanic quoted me $2200 for it including installation. Pistons I'm not sure. If u want the block, I'm letting it go brand new in bubble wrap and in cardboard box ordered original from chong aik international... I bought it as a spare since it was the last piece in Singapore... End up no chance to use it cos Coe up and I sell the bike... Zzz... My mech told me its $2000 without installation... I paid $2000... Letting it go if you're interested... Can MSG me 96581357...
