Different manufacturer, the actual jets are the same thing just different brand.

Dynojet Needles are known to be detrimental to the carb's emulsion tube, it causes uneven wearing that results in certain needle position (usually below 3/4 Throttle Position) to be excessively Rich. Do you reckon Factory Jet will be the same as DJ needles?

You can buy different sizes from Dynojet, Factory or even just from Honda. Just ask for the sizes that you want.

They all work the same. If installed and setup correctly parts from Dynojet, Factory or Honda will all wear the same.

It's generally cheaper to just order the different size parts from Honda as you are not paying for the brand name then like you are with the other manufacturers.

I use Dynojet but that is because I got a full race kit with many different sizes for free with one of my bikes.

how much it bought the heel plates for??

i mean the metal one

thanks...

i got the metal ones at LAB..they were meant for cbr900, so they're perforated holes...cost $34 for a set...

Sorry no idea about specific part numbers off the top of my head.

Hurricane headers are still restricted. In the collector portion of the headers and in the end can.

I am fairly sure that the diameter of the carbs didn't change between model years. I have RRR model carbs on my 89 model hurricane at home and they go on just fine. Although I may be wrong as I have not seen in person and compared the carbs on each model.

The cheapest option:

Get a free flow exhaust and yet still legal, so its either one from NC23 or a NC29L exhaust header and end can.

I have a vague recollection that the Carb manifold on the NC29L is bigger in internal diameter then N and RR. Hence you probably need to go to get a fresh set of manifold (NC29L).

I choose to shim the stock needles since they are not adjustable. 0.5mm shim is a good start.

And probably if ya riding a RR, probably need to get those mainjets to match the above changes. #108 perhaps....

Then again these aint buy and fit upgrades, you need spend countless of agonising hours trying to find the optimum set up. Believe me its not easy.

how are you doing? long time no see

Yeh not in Singapore. Here have to go to the shop and haggle over price etc. In Australia can just order over the net with a couple of clicks and have delivered to your door for very cheap prices. That is the difference I mean.

Anyway I know this guy he has garages full of CBRs and CBR parts so if anyone is searching for parts, eg replacement radiator, forks, wheels, discs anything really just send him a message and ask if he has what you want and how much.

He looks after my CBR400 ever since I got it.

Anyway if you are not happy to deal with someone that when then that is fine, was just trying to say that I know him and he has heaps of parts and very ok prices.

i think i need a radiator...

1st hand or issit 2nd hand?
