road tax is see the age of vehicle and engine capacity(cc)....

11 years is 110%

12 years is 120%

13 years is 130%

14 years is 140%

>=15 years is 150%

thats why my road tax is 195 per year now. >_

i think most cbr400rr out there are all >=15 years...

if your bike is >= 15years....see below.

before july 08 road tax for 400cc bikes = 65/6 months, 130/year

150% of 130 = 195.

after july 08 road tax for 400cc bikes = 55/6 months, 110/year

150% of 110 = 165.

Eh, not all CBR are tt old. Mine only 12yrs old. Still very young. Now only pri 6. Haha.

Anyway, gd infor you provided. I think many of us still dunno abt the road tax payment scheme. But i am confused over one thing. Meaning to say if my bike is registered before july, my road tax aft a 150% increment will be $165? If tt's the case, those bikes tt register aft july, they will have to pay $30 more aft 150% increment? A bit unfair lehz.:giddy:

Tt's is v cheap. But is the clutch plate lasting? No point changing a clutch plate tt wun last then in the end, have to keep changing. Waste time and money even though is cheap. Heehee.:cheeky:

On the road, i will make sure u can't see my rear light...

Coz like that then i can blind you with my HID front light from your back...

i also just installed a prosport voltmeter @ motorworld. the irritating thing about this meter is that, when u reach low battery, it will 'beeep' beeep' so loud and all the way.

after i installed mine, started the bike, then had the 'beeping' thing, i just only changed to a new battery, then the mechanic said that might be the rectifier problem. cost around 90-100. i said 4get it, no more money already.

so had to remove 1 headlight switch so haf more voltage, cos if i put both 2, will haf the beeping sound.

anyone know if after install a brand new battery but using an old rectifier, will damage/reduce the lifespan of the battery?

if u wanna change the batt y not change the rectifier? changing batt wif spoilt rectifitier will damage the new batt and not charging at all thus same old prob

the mech checked and said that the rectifier was ok le. i think its the damn voltmeter that got prob. always got that damn 'beeping' beeeping' sound, so loud that after finish pump petrol, and start ignition, the whole station can hear. regretted buying :( wasted my money. bought from a seller here in the forum, didnt realise it was meant for car.
