tomorrow i am participating in the subaru challenge! but first must get in thru the lucky draw , 1200 callers , and only 350 ppl get to particepate! haiz, dun even know would be able to enter or not...

Anyone went to unique motorsports & changed their coolant before ?

 

they stated that for cbr400 needs 2 bottles, but when my friend & i went there they put 1 bottle only and charged 80dollars.

 

so is 2 bottles enough or ...

wat brand they fill the radiator?

cos normally if need 2 bottles, will be those premix ones while concentrated one need to mix one bottle of coolant wif distilled water.

engine ice is premix ones..

should be using 2 bottles..

if your chain have this loud *KIAK KIAK sound, does that mean its the death of the chain already?

 

check the tension of the chain..

check the chain for uneven wear..

check that the chain links are "smooth" means the chain dun appear like saw..

$80??? :giddy: ??? I would suggest you try out the maxima premix coolaide in future. it's pretty good for my ex gixxer and the current bladie.

To be frank, 2 yrs ago, I bought a bottle, shared it with 2 other friends and used it for a couple of coolant change since, and currently still haven't finish yet. :cheeky:

now they come in premix.. one big bottle of 1.8 litres..

Anybody chargin $80 for coolant change is crazy n real con job..the secret to a cooler engine is effective heat dissipation not expensive coolant wich will go down the drain..u dun nid a degree in thermodynamics to noe this..DUN TRUST WATEVA THEY SAY IN THE BROCHURES..even in racing we dun use coolant

Not sure how long you're referring to, because i did went down to bikeworkz a few months back for coolant change. So I was asked if i want to change to the maxima premix(ready) or concentrated 1, and of course i opt for the latter which is cheaper. Anyway, I just got this bike that time, and not sure how to DIY on coolant change, so spending $15 which i think is quite exp when I still have leftover to DIY in future. :p
