Have you tried JB money changers?

In Singapore, best place I can think of is at Boon Lay there (that big 'mall' next to the famous nasi lemak food centre).

so, changing it in JB is better than SG i guess (MYR to SGD)?

Most often it is.

JB rates are around RM236 for every $100.

I'm not sure of the reverse rate though.

 

Boon Lay, sometimes they offer better rates than JB, sometimes lower but the difference is about RM1-2 difference.

 

I think for convenience's sake, doing it at Boon Lay is better....

Could try the row of money changers next to the checkpoint. After slight negotiations (and also the uncle consulted the computer next to him which was showing yahoo!'s rates), he settled for RM2.4 to SGD$1. That was when the bank rates was hovering around 2.42.

 

Or you could try mustafa. Personally, I find it intimidating with all those bangla's hovering around :x

i only got 100s and some 50s.

 

So it'll be SGD$104 change RM$250.

 

sms me 9858 6442 to deal, else i'll just go money changer change...
