Confused over what the TP means.

I was going home using AYE toward jurong riding in the third lane. As traffic quite conguested i was going in between cars. Then i went into the first lane with 100km/H speed. Then suddenly there are 3 TP behind me, Then i scare liao. I move nearer to the 2nd lane and slow down and let him pass me. Then he singal left and point to the left to me. Then i think die liao, i slow down and want to go Road shoulder then i move to 2nd lane time, he speed away with the others liao. Wad offences i might kann? I damm scare as 2 of my lisence still got p-plate. :cry:

1)25th May 2005 - 14 Feb 2007 Cbr 150

2)14th March 2007 Toyota Vios

3)18th april 2008 NSR SP 150

um... i dun tink squeezing between traffic is an offence? and 100km/h i dun tink will kena speeding on e-way... maybe he was just telling to move away? maybe they were rushing to some place. or u can check the spf website for ur offences?

bikes should stay left according to many signboards pasted on lamp posts. when u wanna overtake others, you should do it on the right and not the left. the TPs doesn't wanna overtake u from your left in your case.

the 1st lane, aka the rightest most lane is for overtaking and emegency vehicles.

 

the TP only wants you to move onto and travel on the 2nd lane as much as possible.

 

being on the centre or left lane will also effectively moderate your speed with the rest of the traffic and you wouldnt have to worry about speeding.

Normally if Mr TP wants to stop and check you, he will on his blinker light and siren and ask you to stop at the shoulder.

If there is traffic behind, he will "block" off the traffic for you to safety move to the side.

 

I think he just wants you to keep to your left for them to overtake. No worries.

I would bet even more, he was not even thinking what you are thinking.

maybe ur too slow to be in the 1st lane.. and he wanna pass ya so he ask ya to move to the 2nd lane..the place where u shld be...happen to me before.. mine wrx some more open siren n blinker.. i was kinda day dreaming.. so i did hear he open sired i like siow die liao.. icos he was pointing to the left.. actually he wanna pass thru cos i'm too slow...hehhe
