just ride normally, shift gradually. dont drag your gears high then shift..

run in about 500-700kms and change your eo, then run in about another few kms til u hit 1000km and change oil again and u're done..

main thing is to make sure ur piston ring seats well on the piston and nt causing any leakage in the piston that causes engine oil to leak out n blar blar.. i might nt be right..

main thing abt run in is the shifting(not dragging too long before shifting) and the temperature ur bike is running.. try not to overheat your bike.. best is ride it during the night.. cooler weather

go to work and back. go indah/perling area for dinner/supper etc.

so doesnt really count as just clocking mileage.

but ah if running-in, u oways ride below 6k RPM or 6k, after ur 1000km run in, valve will jam not?? when run in, ur 2t intake setting high??

2t setting high when running in, then after run in close smaller. then prob after 1200km, i change back normal setting. safer than sorry

Yes please post details when you get your bike, as I'm keen to know too! Cheers

juz went down hkl n talked to ah xiong.. got a overview of wats gonna happen..

Basically hes gonna run for a total of 28km, on gear 4, at 50%, 75% and full throttle..

He will open n close the throttle repeatedly, i guess maintaining the throttle for awhile at each throttle %.. Maybe 10+ times on 50%, 10+ times on 75%, and 5-6 times at full throttle towards the end.. Whole process maybe takes 1hr-2hrs, depending on bike model..

The advantage of doing on the dyno would be that on the machine, the throttle will be more precise and will be able to maintain.. But actually i dunno y he is able complete in 28km wat others will need maybe 1000km to complete on the road.. lol..
