requirement for 2A

hi all, im in my cls 2A prac 3 but recently i was caught by TP for beating the red light. im left with 12 points(after the 12 demerit)

 

can i still carry on with the 2A TP test? it states in BBDC website that participants must not have more than 12 points but im really unsure bout this.

 

have called TP HQ but they are always busy.

 

anyone can help? thanks

"more than 12 demerit points" means 13 points and above, unless it states "12 points and above" which means you are already disqualified...

 

from my understanding, you should still be able to take the TP if you had not accumulated more than 12 points, but i think you should just call and check with BBDC in regards to this, they'll probably be able to provide you with a definite answer...

i think you will be able to take the tp since the website state cannot take if you get more than 12 points.

 

but, upon passing your 2a, you will be going back to 13 points for the next following 12 months. so basically i think you will be surviving for the next 12 months with 1 point.

 

should be this case if i never remember wrongly. if not go consult those instructors, they should know about this too since 2a theory lesson is about DIPS points.

1 point survivin for a year is ridiculous .. gotta ride slow and adhere to safe riding habits !

As long as u still have 12 points,, confirm can take ur Class 2A practical Test.. But also confirm once u pass the test you only have 1 point left after the beat red light case is settled..

 

So advice u better 1) ride very safely and 100% adhere to all traffic rules

or 2) tahan abit and stop using the road for a year as any stupid minor offence; there goes ur hard earned every class...

if i going to choose.. i think will stick to class 2b 1st.. at least still got 12 more point and that one yrs to prac safe riding otr.

 

better than with 1 point, riding class 2a or 2b bike everyday scare this traffic light or other thing.. worst case, see amber light E-brake and the behind vehicle knock u down..

as long as u never go over 12 points can. anyway u pass also u would be back to 12 points cuz u under 2A probation.

Under 2A probation you will be given 13points for a year.

If you have 12points now its ok.

you can still sit for your test.

From the day you pass your 2A you will be a new rider with 13points.

if u clear your 13point you loose all ur Licence.
