My fren's bike got a rear wheel punctured last nite and was thinking of getting a towing crew to tow his bike to bike shop to get it replaced.

I remember seeing it in one of the threads that there are actually some mobile bike service available whereby the mechanic can actually go to ur place to repair or rectify ur bike's problem......but I did a search and couldn't find it....

Any guys/gals noe of such a lobang??

Thanks in advance......

PS: I do not noe which option would be cheaper....

Option 1: Tow to bike shop to change tire/tube = Towing charge of $20 + Price & Labour for changing the tire/tube

Option 2: If there's really such services available....getting the mechanic to go down wher the bike is ....how much cheaper or expensive??

tube tire or tubeless tires?

tube tire-

push to bike shop is cheaper option. if were to ask mechanic to go to where ur bike is,its e same theory as doctor on house visit. expensive. towing should be more cheap than asking a mech down & yes there is such freelance mech.

tubeless-

but a tire repair kit from mustafa or lim ah boy for less than $10 & patch it up urself. get a foot pump at less than $5. patch it, blow it & its done.
