:: price for a lammy here can be quite ridiculus due to its vintage value... such irony that we can get a lammy for a few thousand RINGGIT across the causeway~~!! check out yahoo.sg auctions... there is a blue/white lammy up on sale for a selling price of 18k... now is THAT reasonable? i aint sure mahself... *oh yuh... just found out a few days ago that my dad used to own 2 freakin lambrettas and a GS back in the 60s... WTF~~!!!!!!!!!!! ::

wah...norman, you so intense in your search for a lambretta huh?

word of advice...be really ready to spend loads of money after your purchase.

getting it in working order is the first...then there's the spare parts(which is not easy to find!),

also look for 'genuine' in singapore lammy's(log card/licence plate) and lastly, the vintage lambretta original accessories...which will definately squeeze you and your bank account.

but then again...its all about 'passion'.

good luck in your search.

just when i thought 12k is a pretty good price for a lambretta.

just curious..is it expensive to maintain and keep a classic scooter there...I mean road tax and COE thingy?

april? haha u got name for it?

then i shall call mine 'Milo'

anyway, the value of a vintage scoot is really up to the evaluation/appreciation of the buyer and seller. If you think its worth 12-18k, u will pay for it.

at least you know the seller value it at 12k...

well that's subjective i guess..personally i don't find it expensive..road tax is 60 dollars for 6 months, 120 for a year..i don't know abt COE but shouldn't cost more than 1k.
