Perhaps she is being really smart, it won't be good for her career if she is know to be a stuck-up and prima donna off stage.

same goes for me..but do think of it as an investment cos when it comes to vintage vehicles, their value actually Appreciates with age :giddy: it's just the road tax and maintanence that can be a killer i guess..

Yup..... For cars, you need at least 1k per month, per vehicle....

Bikes not sure yet, but I doubt if my hubby will indulge me for that.... He is already giving in to me lots....

:: morning people... was on my way to work on the ecp this morning... right after the fort road exit on the flyover (before the erp gantry) just seconds away ahead of me, the morning traffic jammed their brakes. squeezed my way thru in between monstrous trucks and cars... a caucasian fella riding a blue honda super-4 have crashed onto a champagne coloured car... didnt see it happen, but the result was quite bad. the boot of the car was badly dented right smack in the centre *and when I mean badly dented, guess the impact must have been caused at roughly 90-100kmph*... the super-4's partially distorted, got a quick glance at the rider, bleeding on the face, arms... hope he's alive... two officers on erp duty were there for his aid. good start to a morning, huh? the accident may have been caused by this possible reason: the driver slowed down/jammed brakes suddenly just to avoid the erp charge *cos it happened at 0931hrs* and the rider happens to be tailgating... just an assumption... but nevertheless... to all, do ride safe and monitor the roads safely... and have a blastful day ya'll... ::

So nowadays it only takes a dollar to get some poor motorcyclist killed...

When will those damn car drivers learn it's only $11 penalty if they forgot their cash card and just drive on? to slam on the brakes to save 11 bucks and kill some poor souls by doing so is JUST NOT ON ! Dammit !!

Its not just the riders, its extremely dangerous for all other road users too. I've almost gotten into accidents many times before cos of cars trying to siam erp.... they don't care cos if they jam brake, the driver or rider behind is the one who has to pay for all the damages if they collied into the back of the idiot's car.

If you can afford to buy the car, you ought to be able to affort all the other cost that comes along with owning a car.

To all vespa riders or other bike riders,

Please keep a safe distance when you ride, just because your ride is smaller, it doesn't mean you have to squeeze thru every single cracks and openings on the roads...

To all vehicle owners,

Do drive safe and be considerate to all other road users... The roads will always be there, it doesn't disappear 5 seconds after the car in front of you have driven pass, so keep a safe distance, it will allow you to better react in time.

really hope the rider will be o.k eventually.

i ride on the left lane most times, still that didnt stop one sick bas***d from tailgating me on my way home last night. from CTE pie exit all the way to AMK.i go fast and he went even faster.and he had no intention of overtaking, let alone exiting the CTE.

my balls were really at my throat at that point of time.i was like a rabbit in their headlights.

some drivers should really give peace a chance.

It's easy to laugh...It's easy to hate.

Though it takes strenght to be gentle and kind.

:: get that most of the time, don't we? i was tailgated at 80kmph *yes 80, not as if i was at 20...* and horned THREE TIMES by a pickup along pie to the east on the way home a few days back before the eunos exit... extreme left lane too... and the right lane was clear for overtaking but he DIDN'T... gave me no choice but to show him my nice, handsome middle finger before squeezing myself thru the traffic... buggers. ::

A clear downside of wearing a fullface is that I can no longer exercise my vocal chords by shouting colourful obsenities at wanker drivers....

However... in the event of a confrontation... the fullface does look that much more scary :thumb:
