yes...our friend, adi had a small mishap...poor guy!

thank god, he is fine...just minor scratches and a swelled arm.

the road had oil spilled all over.

my hubby told me that 7 to 8 bikes/scooters faced a similar fate this morning.

which idiot driver or company left the mess there.

glad that the rider is fine ..

 

there was an accident there and the whole area was spilled with oil .. before it was cleaned up, the bikes are falling down one by one..

no leh. just came back from roda dua. i don't like the pink tone he got for me from the paint shop la have to go down to the paint shop tomorrow to get them to remix the paint to the shade i want

yep i guess it's unavoidable and i have to do it if i want to be fully satisfied with the end results. anyway aiyo i also don't know how the color turned out so different. i wanted this shade of pink:

that's a bit too different right Jass and this other guy at the shop didn't seem to think it was too different but i do man and that's what matters haha i sound like such a bit#^ anyway, Jass didn't really come recommended by anyone just that his shop, Tong Aik, the tampines guy and the other guy at Eunos always being mentioned every now and then by random people in the know. my shop's really near Jalan Besar so i dropped by one day to check out roda dua. while jass doesn't have as many vespas at his shop and very few A plates and accessories, his shop is at a very convenient location for me and what's great is that he opens till like 3 a.m (sometimes till 6 a.m even!). of cos, the fact that he's a lot less busy as compared to ah joo (or so it seems so far) and is such a nice fella earns him major brownie points too

ahahaha....hooked on it first time i saw it...

and the thing is the jaw portion of the helmet can be removed!...making it an open face...

it's EC approved n has built in shades...

 

not just helmet quoted me $480...but there's a showroom in jurong west industrial estate...planning to check that out too...haiz...

so many things so little money...after cny gonna fix a rack n basket..so i can get a bike cover n cover my scoot every day!

well you look like you got things all planned out...good for you.

once we get another bike...its best that we invest in a solid pair of helmets(like arai etc) as well.

coz currently, at home we have only the vintage/classic helmet models.

Been riding about a year.

 

Btw, I went to roda dua late last night... its my first time there as i wanted to get my front suspension tighten as the top nut broke. A malay guy (Boss I think) didnt want to touch my vespa. The first impression he gave me was pretty bad though... It seems that he didnt really like Ah joo. Anyway, i got it fix the following day at AJ (FOC).

 

I saw fluffpuff's cute vespa was there too. Very unqiue.
