Taking 2A

Hi all,

 

Just wanted to ask about taking class 2A and class 2 license...

Can take 2A 1 yr after 2B, means only can take 2A classes after 1 yr, or does it mean can start lessons but test date must after 1 yr?

when u pass ur 2A, i think the system will reset it back to 12points .. after a year u will get 24points

After u pass u will only have 6 pts.

 

Tis year Nov u will have ur 6 demerit pts awarded back to u. so total 12 pts.

 

After 1 year from ur passing date u will than have 24 pts.

 

Take note: B4 ur class 2test the centre will ran a check on ur demerit pts, if more than 12, sorry cannot take the test, ask u to go.

U shld get back the 3pts on 02/01/09...but say

so on 02/01/09 the 3 pts NOT awarded back as u have another offence after that date.

 

thus only on 02/12/09 u will get back the total 6pts.

If you have more than 12 points you will not be allowed to enrolXXX take any test.

If qualified ur pts cannot be 0, 0 means suspension.

 

When u go enrol in driving centre, the centre doesn't stop u from enrolling in class2b/2A/2 or 3.

The law never state that u cannot learn if have more than 12demerit pts...BUT the law does state that u can't take the test if u have more than 12 demerit.

 

SO ITS YOUR DUTY TO CHECK N ENSURE URSELF !!

DRIVING CENTRE NOT RESPONIBLE !!

REASoN:BECAUSE DURING UR LEARNING U MIGHT ACCUMULATE DEMERITS PTS WHILE DRIVING OR RIDING.. SO IF IT HAPPENS TO BE MORE THAN 12 PTS THAN SORRY U ARE BAR FROM THE TEST.

JUST RENEW UR MEMBERSHIP W THEM TILL UR DEMERIT PTS AWARDED BACK.

Ahhh... Ok ok, just checked SSDC webby. You are right, I guess they will allow you to enrol, but you cannot take any theory/practical test... But they do require you to declare that you do not have more than 12 points.

 

I am presently not under any suspension or disqualification from driving and I have not accumulated more than 12 demerit points for any class(es) of Qualified Driving Licence that is held by me.

 

I guess that absolves them of the liability that if you die die wanna enrol but later cannot take test, then kpkb all over, ask for refund, etc.

yes i understand that we cannot take tp test if we accumulate more than 12 points.. but y do we have to wait till 1 year after the demerit of less than 12 points to be eligible for tp (as quoted from the edited timeline, 1/4/08 get points, 1/4/09 then eligible for c2)? as far as i understand, we are able to take tp as long as we have less than 13 demerit points.
