Most of the shops don't have, if they have then its for sale  I still wonder how is the oiling for the K&N filter going to affect anything or not. Used mine for a while and felt uneasy so took it out..

Most car parts vendors carry them. i got mine from small Mah.

K&N filter element is made from cotton gauze material sandwiched between aluminium wire mesh, and it has a better air flow rate than stock filter which is usually made of paper.

However cotton gauze is not able to trap minute particles and that's the job of the oil.

It's not a difficult job that only mechanic can go. In fact most mechanics are not doing in right. They speed up the drying process by using pressurized air which could cause damage to the filter element.
