Dear all,

How does the signal get damaged?

Is the signal and brake relay the same?

Thanks for any reply.

Signal relays get damaged mainly due to 3 reasons ...

>> AGING - Capacitor ("condenser") value drifts and it blinks crazy fast or doesn't even blink

>> VIBRATION - Causing the flexible metal strip inside to lose its tension

>> WATER INGRESS - Water entering and corroding the metal parts inside

The electrical component at the brake levers is either a switch (microswitch to be exact) or in-line sensor (ILS). It's not a relay. Thought u are selling and **installing** LEDs? o_O

Relays exist at the brake lamp circuitry normally because a mech put it there to fire some aeroplane sound circuitry or additional brake lights. Normally done by JB mechs. :giddy:
