for example u got a pending case. IO say dis case u will kena 6 points for self skidding on 2/2/09. jus wait for letter. but letter come 3 mth later, n u paid the fine all n settled on 2/5/09. so when will the offence start? isit on 2/2/09 or 2/5/09?? n if noting happens it clears on 2010.

 

cos if u say start on 2/5/09 den if ppl p plate drop on 2/2/09 may be saved if it was to be revoked. cos on 2/5/09 he has 24 pts aredi.

 

so is dat a loophole or wat?

 

i asked my pte instructor he said date of offence 2/2/09. I ask fren ex polis he said 2/5/09. hmmmm need ur inputs

whenever u get any letter they'll state the DOC:(

hmmm cos nw im taking my pracs.... if u say date of offence den gd news if tp send saman sooner or later it doesnt matter, cos date of offence has passed 1 mth aredi.

 

if count from date of charge, after u pass ur new liscence points reduce to 12. den comes the saman a few days later. got to bear 1 year wif the 3 points left.

here's another similar case.

 

i did a self skid last year Oct, was conveyed to hospital so left bike there and was towed by TP.

 

few days after discharge when i could walk again, went to TP center at Ubi to make report & meet IO to get vehicle release letters & also IO case interview.

 

told me to wait for letter for my charge & DIPS notification.

 

been checking EDDIES every few weeks since then and still no record of case

 

it's been 9 months since then, could i safely say its been written off? or just wait until "they" decide to do something and send me the notification?

 

I guess for my case, if or when the letter does come, it should be from the date of self skid right?
