i've noticed this new phone in the market.

looks n specs are both very attractive...

any comments about this hp?

i feel like getting one soon...

none of my phones last 15hrs before requiring a charge again.

This phone's interface is the closest in terms of sensitivity to the iPhone. But still quite far off, sadly.

 

Is it so difficult to make a snappy touch interface like iPhone/iPod touch? Apparently it is. Its so unsensitive even without a screen protector, I think it will lag even more with a screen protector.

i played with a few of the display sets at the roadshow that has been used to play videos and games all day.

 

stood there testing it with my own memory card for 20mins, opened 5-6mb pdf and excel files with minimal lag.

quite a gd phone. still getting used to it cause interface is samsung widget and not the normal WM i'm used to.

 

1 sad thing is tht it's WVGA, so got some software can't run

wat i meant was from the video , it seems like to move from application windows , and moving from menu screen to another takes a while. havent see in real life tho.

search for a freeware called smstweaker, u'll b able to toggle between those 2 modes

i juz got my omnia II two days ago,

not bad i should say...

u can practically rearrange the whole menu, from the sorting of the buttons to the different pages.

damn cool.

the resolution is damn good too.

comes with a 1gb mini sd with preloaded gps program.

if u jus want a phone, get the jet but if u like to play ard with ur phone, things like installing stuff and all those, get the omnia II cause its running WinMo, lots of 3rd party software
