If you subscribe previously to Singtel's Easy-ERP Service, the amount will be charged to your Singtel bill. The good thing about this is the admin charge is reduced from $10 to $4. But still need to pay fine la. hahahha

hmm normally i wont forget to remove my cashcard.. its the hassle to put it in everytime i ride..

i dont usually remember where are the gantries and what are the operating hrs u see.. haha.. and i ride around town alot.

thats why i rather keep cashcard in the IU and ride thru gantries without worry. thats how my IU got crack open :sian:

I just don't understand why it is so difficult to design an IU that can fit under seats of motorcycle. Japan already have one that does that. Why can't Singapore follow.

Three piece type

This type has an antenna that is separate from the main body of the device. With the three piece type, a small antenna is fitted to the dashboard and the main body can be fitted anywhere inside the vehicle as long as it does not interfere with handling of the ETC card. This type is commonly referred to as a "three piece type" since it is made from three parts, the main ETC in-vehicle device, the antenna, and ETC card.

You want them to design...Sure no problem. Be prepared for Admin fee for replacing.. ERP rates will go up... How? Still want?

Its just getting the antenna out in the open, creating a module for that. I'm sure they won't mind vehicle owners to bear the cost. At least in japan, they give you options; all-in-one (our current IU type), this option of 3 piece & integrated into car option.

And how do you know admin fees and erp rates to go up? Like that the next exercise of changing IU to new ones will costs all of us a hole lots of moni, once installed.

hmm... definitely something to keep in mind... my IU no warranty liao, maybe when I feel courageous enough, I'll dismantle it and see if feasible to "customize" it to 3 piece design. hehehe....
